Here you go - I used finely sliced pepper instead of ham - not a veggie but no ham in fridge.

Just read this properly MrsF, and added it to my list of things to try, looks delicious and not too complicated. Good way to use up spare eggs and salad bits, which I usually have several hanging around.

Insomnia to 14 hours - hope you get your sleeping pattern sorted, MNR!

I cooked yesterday for once in a while! Made a sort of spanish type dinner - based on patatas bravas - with potatoes, smoked paprika, garlic, sage, tomatoes then added some haricot beans I had cooked and frozen a while ago and some of the frozen sweetcorn. Had it with sourdough. Had enough for a 2nd portion tonight but I went in WF and came home with a mixed box from the salad bar (the new spicy cauli was amazing!) and a wedge of carrot cake :o

    Hi all :)

I've been in town today and I was THIIIIIISSSS close to stopping at the chipper on the way home, but decided that I would come home and eat the few remaining things in the fridge instead, which were a shop-bought ravioli in tomato sauce and a sorry excuse for a salad:

I know that was the right and MSE thing to do, but I think I'm now in mourning for the chips I didn't get to eat...:( Oh well, grocery shopping day tomorrow so hopefully I'll find a delicious bargain.

  • Evening all :)

Fridge stocked with loads of lovely fresh summer salad and fruit, so I've eaten a rainbow today. Forgot to take a piccie of my breakfast but it was so colourful: porridge oats soaked in juice/berries from a summer berry mix. Beautiful bright purple and very tasty.

Lunch was a seafood salad, supper was a messy looking chilli con carne with potato wedges (thanks for the inspiration MrsF!) and in a moment I'm going to munch a big bowl of lush looking strawberries and nectarine. I definitely eat with my eyes!
