Hello, I hope onlookers are allowed!
Well I shall look anyway by peeping through the net curtains!

I seem to spend most of my "free" time (when not dog walking etc ) by sewing doggy duvets......over 200 last year and all for charity. There is a pile building already upstairs for this year's sewathon!

Hopefully I may look at what everyone is doing and make suitable (pleasant!!) comments

    Me again. :D

I have just seen a plaque saying 'A house is made of bricks and beams, a home is made with love and dreams' and i would love to cross stitch this and put it in a frame. I used to do cross stitch when I was about 14 but not since. Can anyone give me any pointers on where to start, what I need to buy, can I buy a kit for this etc etc Think this would be project number 3 and ideal for MIL for xmas :D I can also do chain stitch if you think that will be better but do not have any of my old embroidery stuff like the ring thing.

    Thanks x

Maria - the last link you posted was where I've ordered my Alessandra Adelaide eye design from, have had really good communication so far happy. Says delivery likely to be 10 days or so, considering it's from the USA I don't think that's bad.
