13 Projects in 2013 (cross stitch, knitting, paper crafts etc.)

What a fantastic idea, I was just thinking this myself as I have a subscription to a sewing magazine so that would mean I would need to make sure I make time to complete at least one item from each copy.

I also was bought a chutney and preserve book for Christmas and I am aiming to make one batch a month and try some new flavours. I don't think it counts as a craft as such though.

Would love to be added to the list if you wouldn't mind having me here?

ok my 13 for 2013 list

1 - sew 12 little stockings and make up into proper stockings (doing now)

2 - lets sew

3- big stocking for dn1

4- big stocking for dn3

5- big stocking for best friends baby not yet born !

6- sewing keeper for mum (cant explain it but i know what i mean!)

7- tea wreath

Hi, I'd love to join in on this. I've got a few UFO hiding about and I got a Big Shot machine for Christmas so a new toy to play with.

Would love to join in please. Will be a mixture of cross stitch and knitting. Only one UFO left so will start with that and the rest will be new ones.
1. Greek scene (Just the horrible between hole backstithing to do) - Finished 12.1.13
2. Knitted Hooded Jacket for GS (due in April) - Finished 2.2.13
3. Jane Greenoff Antique World Map (Copying the 9 pages of chart tomorrow so I can make a start) Page 1/9 completed
4. Another knitted cardigan for GS - Started 4.2.13

6.Paris (Only 7x5 so will be takings on holiday in March)

My list will be a mix of various needlecrafts with cross stitching being the main one.

I don't want to commit myself now to which 13 projects I will work on (finish?) in 2013 as I know I will change my mind but here is my initial list.

1. Stitcher's 12 Days of Christmas - started 10 11 12 to be finished 11 12 13
2. The 12 Days of Christmas Stitchery UFO to be finished by end November 2013 (including making it into a banner for display) I'm stitching mine in red variegated thread rather than the multi colours shown in the photo
3. Let's Sew (stitchalong Cross Stitch Cafe) Completed 05 02 13
4. Thomas Stocking (Shepherd's Bush design)
Charland Stocking (Shepherd's Bush design)
Both of the above to be cross stitched and made into stockings by the end of November
5. Christmas Quilt to be finished - needs a bit more work on the applique then border, backing and quilting
6. A Sampler Quilt made from a Jelly Roll - I've already made one of these and would love to do another in a different colour scheme; aiming to do a block a month as I did last time so the complete quilt won't be finished until 2014. Have decided to use Petite Odile Jelly Roll
7. American Smooth cross stitch design
8. Snowflakes by Bent Creek To be finished on 31 1 13 Cross stitching finished 17 01 13 but want to add the snowflake button on 31 1 13 Completed 31 1 13
9. Cottage Garden Sampler by The Victoria Sampler

So pleased to see we have so many people signed up already, I was worried there would only be a handful of us interested, and pleased to see that it's not just us cross stitchers taking part!
