My alarm was set for 6.30 anyway as I had to go to work on the bus, but I would have liked the extra hour's sleep!

Still here. Sigh. Only started arranging to look at flats this last week, and have been surprised that they go so quIckly. Sigh. Gf works 9-5 so can't go and look. Dss now has his lecture hours and needs to pull his finger out. Sigh. And with having to apply for the accommodation and then sort out references, it's not an overnight jobbie. Sigh. Cannot see them being gone before the end of the month. Double sigh.

Am tired out tonight. We had an Open Morning at work, for prospective parents, so continuous niceness was required from 9am to 1pm. Gosh it is tiring!

But then I walked into town and met up with dd and dh in the playground. We eventually went to pr3t - safe food there - and ate enough to keep us going for a while. The £ emporium yielded up 4 boxes of school bars, some fruit stars and a pack of pretty blue anna/elsa baubles that dd can put on her tree.

Home and lodgers were there so I came upstairs to watch the matches in our room and did some knitting. Finished off 5 hanging trees. I have 2 pieces of lovely Christmassy grren fabric but no inspiration for them yet. One is dark green with small gold outlines of holly on it, the other is a bright green gauzy material with gold stars and snowflakes.

We have had a letter for dd to do tae kwon do at her school - and she is ecstatic - which means that so long as I leave fairly promptly, I can collect her from school myself. :D

    Read this today:

Stop. Step back. Think. What are your true priorities in life? What really matters? Write down the 3 most important items in your life. Now look at what you do each day, and what you have planned this week. Are these congruent? If not, align them. Work on your #1 priority 1st thing every morning, whether it is family, faith, fitness, or finances. Make time for what matters.

Just put it here to refer back to.

A busy morning has been had - whites wash done and hung up, and 'soup' on the hob before we left the house.

Since lunch, I've only zapped and portioned up the soup and stuffed 4 bunnies with the associated 16 limbs.

Mon - mince mix + veg
Tues - chicken in a sauce + veg
    Weds - spring piggy stew
Thurs - white fish + veg
Fri - salmon + hm chips

    Now to iron...

£2.99 online on a book dd needs for'school.
£21 for her tae kwon do lessons - to december.
Thankfully, we found her recorder from a couple of years ago.

Will the £100 I allocated to her this month be enough...!

Now got 4 days of work ahead, so hopefully 4 days without spending...

A 2nd NSD for the month :j yippee! (finally - phew)

Work required effort - shock, horror, hand to head... But also had plenty of good parts :D.

Dh is cooking tea and I've fed dd and put on a wash.

Can I go to bed yet...?
