4 bunnies finished + 8 russian ladies. Phew. Now to spread it all out and see where the gaps are. Then make 2 plans - the first ti fill the gaps, the second to sort out how to get it all to the fair...

Spent £10 in ch shops. Got an exercise top, shorts, a skort (to downsize in to :D), 2 per una work tops, some snuggly winter jamas and a book for dd. Feels really frivolous :rotfl:.

Week 12/12 - Plan II is complete. :T

Overall, I do really think that I am looking after myself much better - mentally, emotionally, spiritually - which is a very good thing.

A weekly look back is also a good thing as it makes me reflect on the good and the bad, but also makes me look forward too.

Financially, we are ok, being careful but not stringent.

So, why stop there? Plan III starts today!

    Plan III - 12 weeks - June 11 until September 3 2017.

Health, wealth and a life well lived.

Health - I must lose weight. No more shillyshallying. I eat waaaay too much.

Wealth - I must open 2x savings accounts. The bank have sent us another letter suggesting we move some of the offset to savings, as we are more than 100% offset :rotfl:.

Life well lived - get out and about; socialise (eek); keep a balance; house - clear, clean, paint, sort lease, sell. Make the most of time with dd in the summer hols - visit big sis, visit my best friend when she comes over from Spain, go to the beach.

    That'll do for now :D.

Just catching up as away for a few days.

You have totally inspired me and I'm very grateful.

I used to do 6 French speaking countries as projects. Make a print out of facts about the country (Wikipedia page!). Then give the printouts out randomly so everyone had one. I'd get them to do something using the info on the printouts, maybe make a mini book by folding a4 paper over ( a pAge on geography, culture, food etc) and then put them in groups of six to each present their county to the others using their mini book. It worked quite well generally and I think they all learnt a lot. I'd use the resource pages again and again so I wasn't bothered about the photocopying.

Anyway you'll have your own ideas that'll be much better I'm just hanging on in there now!

Love the twelve week plan, good luck.

Btw did Having it written out in numbers help?

    Thank you earthgirl!

And thank you for taking the time to say how you did/do the projects. The research bit was my sticking point, especially for the initial lesson, and you have solved that. Yay!

I also like your summer plan of having something to do each day. We usually do a list of possibilities, but often they don't get done because I don't plan them. Oops! Last summer was scuppered by dad's death on Aug 2nd - pesky man! - so I do want to get some special things done with dd this year. She is really easy to please, and thoroughly enjoys pottering around at home and playing out, but there are times when 'everyone else' is away and she's 'bored'.

An admin day ahead of me at work today - at least, I hope so, as there is a lot of it to do by the end of term.

And I like working the month out by numbers. I enjoy counting! So each month is set out with numbers, I join in the NST monthly challenges (and sometimes run one myself), and I have my 12 week plans.

Better shake a tail feather and leave the house...

My admin day was awesome! The sch timetable has been collapsed this week for enriching activities for the pupils. I wasn't allocated to anything on mon, so set to work with a colleague, had a mini dept meeting and sorted handbook, ddp, theatre companies, trips, budget, reports.... I had lost the will to continue soon into the afternoon, and left as soon as I was allowed to.

Today I was outside all morning and it was superb weather for it. The first bunch of y9s (which we had for 3/4 of the morning) were really lovely to work with and made for a thoroughly enjoyable time. The next group contained a sizeable number of workshy ones who put a damper on eveything. But then I was all finished by lunchtime, so came home!

We have had brownies tonight, which nets me about another 6k steps, and I'll be up to 22k by bedtime :D. I am surprised some days at how well my toe is holding up and other days it lets me know how unhappy it is :rotfl:.

I am very grateful today for my work colleagues who have all been sharing their leg0 cards, leaving spares and swapsies on the staffroom table. Dd now only needs 4 more cards to complete her collection, and we do not spend much at sainz, so mostly they have come from generous others. Very grateful indeed.

I also snuck in a workout today using my 12K kettlebell. 3x 20 bent leg deadlift; 20 squat; 20 straight leg deadlift; 20 sumo squat; 10 each side side bend. All without putting the KB down. Took me 14 mins :D.

Another very useful session with the counsellor. Plenty of walking. A food shop. Raspberry picking. Baking. Washing. Little prep for my school SUMMER FAIR on Sat.

    Enjoyed a peaceful day.

Tomorrow I'm going in to work earlier and finishing earlier. Hopefully!
