Week 1/12
Health- fingers and toes much improved. Big toe still mending and I'm ensuring I still get in some toughie workouts. 1lb weightloss - a start!
Wealth- £80 made at dd's summer fair and a plan for what to make for Cmas ones (more mice, cmas houses, penguins, knitted (?) Santas). Spent little - only on food, really - our food costs have risen since gf foods were removed from the prescribable lists. Claimed moderating expenses so they should appear fairly soon.
Life well-lived- got a 'keep the date' fridge magnet from stepds re their wedding next summer; plenty of fun times this week, especially today with the woods, photography and paddling pools. The balance is going well, but the next 2 weeks are going to be rather hectic. What is happening and when is all recorded - it's more me being able to 'bother' of an evening to prep food for the next day or so.
Am hoping dd will drift off to sleep soon...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Rather warm today. By last lesson we were all so hot, the pupils willingly worked through sheets on modal verbs!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Another warm one.
My lovely dh brought dd's non-functioning Singer sewing machine to my work, as the wonderful DT technician said he'd service it for us. Took him less than 2 hours - I thought it'd take days! So I then struggled home with it as I didn't want to drag dh all the way over there again.
Brownies tonight took my step count to just over 20,000. Not too shabby...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Great news with the sewing machine. How on earth did you carry it home though?!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Good grief, can't believe you've been weightlifting singer sewing machines *outside* on a day like today(!)a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0

We have a trolley thingy which we used to transport it! It was still very tricky, as it was so heavy it didn't sit nicely (was held in place by 3 sprungies/elastic rope thingies) and kept pulling the trolley to make it sit upright. The hardest part was getting it on and off the various buses I used.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
No counselling today as I attended a talk on a new secondary school. Interesting, informative and potentially one to choose - once they get planning permission :rotfl:.
Smug face alert: I did another double workout. Same as a few days ago, but with a laying leg raise using a 3.5k dbell instead of a mid V-up. As you do. Then a beautiful shower and scrub clean.
Dh went to church for a meeting (not paid) then got asked to fix something (paid). Result. This evening he has to put all the chairs away from the evening meeting, so he'll hear the same talk as me and we can compare thoughts.
Dh did a food shop this morning and all of aldee's fridges and freezers were broken down .
Am feeling very much in limbo re mse stuff. So much of what we now do is now engrained in our lifestyle and we don't have to think twice about most of it. Dh has even curbed his £ emporium habit! Much of the last year has been rather limbo-esque, with dad stuff, mum stuff, my own stuff... So I guess that's one good reason! Expending so much energy on the other houses has meant this place has been rather neglected, I suppose, which doesn't engender joy!
Enough naval gazing. The tennis is on...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hope the feeling of being in !limbo passes. How are you feeling now?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Am recently arrived in mum's house and it is clearer than I remember it. So either we really did remove a lot when we all came up at half term, or big sis has done a lot...
I am allowing myself 10mins on here, then am going to start painting... Am chuffed as I went to Wilk0 after getting off the train, instead of coming here and then going out to azda.
It is now over 3 hours later! Big sis rang and we talked for well over an hour. Then I got on with painting. Then I cleaned up. Then dh rang. Then I went to the c00p to find some tea. And here I am!
Very good chat with bigsis, esp re a timeline for mum's house.
My tasks for tomorrow?
1 more painting (and don't buy wilk0's own paint next time...)
2 clean all the lampshades
3 try to scan photos - pc/scanner shenanigans...
4 post 2 items on gumt -if I can connect my phone to the pc
5 clear stuff to ch shop
6 visit mumNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
