Well, there is a <whispers> very slight possibility that the mortgage number will be much lower soon0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Having a very much needed recharging of batteries day. DS treated us to an amazing lie in (8am ). Then after a bit of breakfast fun, which included having no power in the kitchen (we eventually traced it to a plug socket that the cursed cat had pee'd on and it was shorting - very alarming, now replaced!); I headed off to ride my horse and DH took DS out to the shops. DS now having a nap, DH just back from a cycle, and I'm achieving very little at this precise moment. It's pleasantly warm, and I don't care0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

It was indeed! I did get on with some pressure washing later on in the evening (lots more to do) but it was all very light on effort. Today, have managed a ride and a cycle between us - possibly first weekend in post baby years we've both managed to do our hobbies both days of the weekend. Yippee! Downside is it's currently raining and the fire is on (ok so that's not all bad); so I'm probably going to go out and do some more pressure washing and DH will take DS swimming.
L - just noticed your sig, that is such an amazing story :T0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Thanks, it has crept back up but its all in hand and should be cleared next year. I keep a track on my diary to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Hi Brizzle.
Mostly good. House sale all looks like it's moving forward *touches wood frantically* but just waiting on their mortgage to be finalised. Our solicitor says this isn't unusually slow. He's now off on holiday for nearly a week so we won't conclude missives till then at least. And Operation 5 year plan is close to being a reality, I hope. And everyone is well and DS is gorgeous and cute and now has the word "cuddle" in his repertoire so I've lost all ability to be strict :rotfl:
Less good is that work is manically busy. Work life balance feels off. And, err, we haven't found somewhere to live. We are going to rent for an intervening period but very little is coming up, with 5 weeks to go . And money is squeaky as ever but haven't had time to do any sums .
(Note. I did find time to read ALL of L's diary this week which explains the bags under my eyes. I feel like a stalker now though )0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37
