DS has left 18p on kitchen table for 6 days now... do you think he'd notice if I potted it? Lol!
6 days?? My DS dropped 20p on the livingroom carpet last week and it had about 6 seconds there before DD scooped it up and chucked it in the pot :rotfl: poor DS was saying 'that was my 20p!' while DD was happily dancing round the room going 'roadkill! roadkill!' :rotfl: no idea where she gets that from! :rotfl:
Well done Rancid on paying your mum back its a great feeling to clear a debt to our mums
DD was upset the other week (which always means its going to cost me money!) she has just cottoned on that DS has a paper round, so DS can save money for Disney . . cue 'but I cant save any money to take mum' <---her face . . . . sooo she now has a reward chart, everyday she has to make her bed (10p), set the table and clear all the plates into the dishwasher (10p) get her own breakfast and get her teeth brushed without being told (10p) and clean and hoover her bedroom every saturday (50p) and each sunday we add up her stickers and "gullible mum" here gets her purse out and pays DD to do the blinking jobs she should be doing for nowt :rotfl: BUT, she's now happy that she can make a grand total of £2.60 a week and even found herself a seperate piggy bank to put her hard earned pennies in so she can keep an eye on how much she saved :rotfl:
Soooo after being fleeced by DD, ive had a few quid to chuck in the pot (not as much as i'd have had if I wasnt being fleeced though . . grumble grumble . . . :rotfl: )
EDIT: just to point out that DS wasn't bothered about his 20p (just incase anyone had images of him sat there forlorn after his last 20p was nicked!) he knows full well thats the Disney tin and he'll see it back in one form or another (more than likely as some very overpriced Nike trainers from one of the many retail outlets )SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £0/£10000 -

Aww, how old is your baby? My LO is teething and getting her first tooth through. She'll be 4 months old next Sunday, I can't believe how fast she's growing, it makes me sad
I might not be potting anything today as I haven't been out (I was going to, but the weather has put me off!) and my hubby tells me he has no change at all! Maybe I'll search around the house or look under the sofa, there's sure to be some shrapnel somewhereSPC '21 #0750 -

I wanted to find something to pot, so I went and looked on the bookshelf...no change there! But then I spotted an old purse of mine - when I looked inside there was a 20p and several coppers! Judging from the receipts in it, I haven't used it since just before I got married in June 2015, so obviously nothing in there was especially missed
So 30p potted today!SPC '21 #0750
