Two days later, I haven't succumbed and gone back to get the unicorn slippers :D

I've been shopping for birthday cards and presents today as well as getting some more jeggings for my baby from Primark and potted the £5.01 change I had leftover in my purse :)

Well done on paying your Mum back Rancid-A. make sure you scribble out that writing on the back of the envelope as then you can see what you achieved overtime you look at it.

    £3 potted today.

    I hope everyone is well.

  • Good morning everyone
Sorry I haven't been about much - had a bit of an accident over Christmas and have been house bound for the last few weeks. Definitely on the mend now and mum drove me to the shops yesterday (bit of a turn around) to pick up a few groceries, so I paid for coffee and a bun as a thank you for the care chauffeur service. So £1.05 in the pot.
Also thank you for the heads up about the change to the pound coins - missed that in the news somehow

    Take care everyone

Very well done rancid-a, It must be a great feeling to have cleared that debt.
Been reading the good ideas about the pound coins and five pound notes. Fished out any 'old' fivers from my pot and peplaced them with new ones. Also, taken out 'old' pound coins and replaced them with other money. Really pleasantly surprised at how much I've saved so far - not that I know how much it is! But got a very rough idea when changing the money that will become out of date this year.
Took the common sense advice of Sue -UU and am now putting any pound coins in a separate pot. Thanks Sue.

Today I've been up to the clinic with my LO to get her weighed. Popped to the shops opposite for some essentials I'd ran out of.

£7.01 change for the pot :)
