    Apart from Clidds at the beginning of this thread saying that he's had one for months somehow, and used it without problems, I have seen no reports of use of the card overseas.

    Maybe you will be the first, but if you are going next week you had better ask them to express your card, I've been waiting for mine for almost three weeks!

  • Ok thanks for that. Spoke to support by text today and they told me they would get one via next day delivery to me tomorrow so we will see. May just have to be the leap of faith with this one then!

    Revolut has been available in private beta for a few months now, although we only became publicly available a few weeks ago.

    We apologise for the delay of your card, the huge order volumes have caused some delays, however we will be back on track for 2 day delivery soon.

    If you need an emergency card urgently then contact our in-App support chat and we'll arrange a card for you.

    Signed up today to check how good it is going away next month but not a good start.

    Tried to add £10 3 times during today and its failed. Support says the system is down

  • Anyone considering this card should be very careful and make sure they order it in plenty of time. Unless my card arrives tomorrow, I am left without a suitable method of taking currency to France on Sunday! When you order the card, there is no mention that they are currently experiencing delays in delivery - the only way that you can see this is by searching through their FAQs. When you order the card, you can track it on the screen through ordering, printing and posting however, mine was allegedly posted 2 days ago and I still don't have it. I contacted them using the on-line chat facility to be told my card should arrive by the end of the week followed almost immediately by a further text reply stating - or maybe early next week! I would suggest that a warning should be given at the point of ordering the card to stop this situation happening.

    Then you have the issue I have today trying to load money onto it. Not good for a first attempt so am looking for another card to use instead and will not use this one.
  • Where do revolut make money?
    There doesn't seem to be any mention of charges anywhere.

    I did come across mention of a 1% fee somewhere, is that the only fee?

    Apologies for the inconvenience with loading via card top up, we've been updating the top up to enable 3D secure which has caused some temporary issues.

    Bank transfer top ups are unaffected.

    Really sorry to hear you've been experiencing delays on your card. Are you able to come into our London office today? We would be able to give you a card immediately.

    The card delays is only temporary and soon delivery time of 2 days for UK will be back to normal.
