Miss Hoodie must be psychic; we're fighting down the ivy in our new garden.

I say fighting; I'm starting to think an exorcism would be more appropriate. It has these thick viney roots 6-10 inches under ground level :(

    Morning all

Will have a proper look at the challenge a bit later in the week. going out today for a tour of the emirates stadium so very excited.

Tomorrow YD is having her op so will be out all day. It is a day care jobby so she shouldnt have to stay in overnight.

I have claimed some more Amazon vouchers, just waiting to receive them. I have birthdays just about sorted up till September. I need to get my Son a couple more tshirts but they wont cost a lot.

Right gonna pace myself on this one. We have sorted the garage (yay) so the shed is a good next move. By next challenge we will have sorted the shed, the outhouse (very small and yet very very messy!) and the gardens. So far have swept the porch and marvelled at all the bulbs coming up. Twinged my neck yesterday so weeding will have to wait :-( found silly bunny poop rhyme So will be sending that to various rels and vicar http://diginncrafts.tripod.com/bagtoppers/btpoop1.html
Also really like the look of these buns. How do i dye the coconut? Assuming i don't paint each 'blade' :rotfl: http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/edible-easter-basket-682233/

Have to confess, - its stuff that we need to do at home! and Miss Hoodie loves the idea of setting cleaning challenge...

We finally got the rest of the pictures put back up in bedroom, - not bad considering the bedroom was decorated August last yr... Could have been done earlier, but I couldn't decide which pics to move out, had one frame A4 size, photos from 1998, - memories, mix and match photos I'd got my HNC that yr, all dressed up in cap + gown, Miss Hoodie didn't realise it was me, it wasn't that I was slimmer then, or gd 10 yrs younger (14 actually, but 10 sounds better), - it was the fact that I had long fingernails, then I told her they were fakes.... and there was my pass ticket from Disneyland, 145 francs for the day.... that was my present to myself for passing, went with a mate, 1st proper foreign holiday, - now I;d be on a plane 2mor if I could.

3 weeks of OU left:T plan is 1 assisgnment this week, (harder one), but I have a "friend in the know" running the once over to guarentee a pass!, then the easier one next week.

    Hope everyone ok. xx

    Hello all :j

Just a quickie........computers so slow tonight its taking me ages to go from one thread to another. Technology sucks at times

Cleaner blitzed the upstairs ready for the family at the weekend...........gardener chap not leaving yet and when he does it'll be for 6 months and OH thinks he'll manage to keep on top of things like weeding and stuff. He planted some carrots this afternoon while I looked at the rubbish still to be carted away by someone. sometime.
Minor panic not finding big enough jiffy bag for sons birthday and easter stuff and forgot to ask OH to get one. Want to get it posted this week so he gets it for Saturday otherwise he'll be at work and it'll mean a trek to the post office -he'll not be happy about that.
Heard today stamps are going up -1st class will be 60p, 2nd class 50p !!:eek: Can see posting christmas cards being more expensive than the card itself. Not sure when this increase is taking place..............do hope its not before I send off Easter cards !
Not done much today except attempt a christening card..........had mental block so gave up and read a book in the garden.

Hope you're all ok and enjoying the weather:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

the stamp increase is disguisting, it almost makes you not want to post anything, dreading what the increase on parcels is going to be,

If anyone does have the stamps that say 1st or 2nd even thou we would have paid the "normal price", then they still get treated the same. Not sure if its 2nd april they go up, xx

    Evening all

YD had her op today and it all went fine, she is feeling ok, a bit sore but getting up and about already.

Yesterday we had a day out at the Emirates stadium in London, it was brilliant and I really enjoyed myself. We were in there ages and ages and took loads of photos.

I ordered a mug off Vista yesterday, first for this year. Just going to get four of them this year for the grandchildren as they liked the look of the ones I did for the other kids last year.

Hope YD goes on ok, big hugs from Miss Hoodie, great minds think alike - jut ordered myself mug from Vista, as bailey broke the handle off mine, not that I haven't got enough! but it was one from dom rep laat yr, and ordered 2 xmas prezzies - pen and matching notebook so that will be ready for the TA for xmas from Miss hoodie, - thou don't know if anyone else has noticed the offers are time limited now, (naughty of them!!!) sure its to get us to spend more money!!

All fun + games here, for once its not me - its dad - where our houe is the garden is inline with the school, it just has a dividing fence, yesterday the school sent a "goveneror" across to tell him they don't want him or the dog in the garden when the kids are on the field, we've gone mad, he couldn't believe it, - he said he felt like he was being accused of being a pervert, there was a few others things said - so I wrote him a letter of complaint 5 pages long, so don't expect that go down well. best thing this morning they have put a barrier of poles against the fence, with red + whote plastic tape, makes it look like a csi crime scene.

What narks us the most is, we don't distract the kids, yet the teachers use to bring the kids round to see Bailey when he was a puppy, its war!! x
