I don't really know what to say other than to wish you and your family a very happy Christmas.

Do let us know how things go - I will be thinking of you over Christmastime and beyond.

    Best wishes from Liverpool.

We had a good Christmas, just the four of us, I took DD away for New Year, just got back today, felt like an old tradition - dad picking us up from the airport.

Appointment wise - it kicks off again
Oncologist is the 1st one this week, then we have a new doctor on board next week.... not sure what department they are.

I dont think it has really sunk into DD, she asked about dad having cancer, so I answered it as honestly as I could, she seemed fine with that, but this morning she had a panic attack, - whether it was a mix of holiday, thought of going back to school, going on plane, dont know - shes fine now x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Glad you had a good Christmas and were able to get away with your daughter. Good luck with the appointments, and the new doctor. Best wishes from Liverpool. :)

Back to the oncologist... still holding off the chemo, they think there was some pre-cancerous cells when they took the bisopy - when it was the camera...

We now have another doctor to add to the list, the gastro specialist.. then there hoping for another bisopy and a ct scan all before end of Feb

Just felt like second nature going back to the hospital today.

In himself he is ok, so thats all that matters xx

    Update...

We have a 999 ambulance - he got rushed in with swelling in his stomach and intense pains, I was having to time them, it was contractions every 5 mins, then they slowed to every 15... another round of blood tests and pokes / prods - turned out it was a gastro bug - he was in a+e for 4 hrs...

Since then we had appointment with the gastro team, theres pre-cancerous cells in the stomach lining, - in a healthy person they'd squeeze the stomach and bypass to the other bowel, but he wouldn't make the operation - as these cells can be 5/10 yrs before they become cancer - there keeping an eye on it.

Mon - Back to the original surgeon - 6 mthly review - the hernia is a pain but its not to bad - so its hold off and see.

Touch wood the rest of Jan is appointment free...

Feb - Ct scan and review with oncology....

In himself he's fine, which is a good thing. xx
