  • Tell us something we do not already know! ;)

Yodel are awful and find it very easy to lie about deliveries.
  • Was previously HDNL. Absolutely useless company. All my Amazon orders that were delivered by this company were late this Christmas. One item went missing but they lied and said it had been delivered. They sent round a representative who insisted it had been delivered! He then asked for directions as they'd received a number of complaints from my street alone! It turned up 2 weeks after paying next day delivery on Amazon. Never again!
  • Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has had any similar issues with Nightline? My item has been out for delivery twice and at the end of the day the status was updated to 'could not locate delivery address'. Having checked i put in the correct address i am wondering if it is just laziness from the driver? Does anyone know if there is any way of adding directions with my tracking number too? :s
  • My only bad experince last year was with Parcelforce.

My client went to Turkish Cyprus for a week in September. She forgot her contact lenses and asked me to post them.

Parcelforce guaranteed to deliver them in 48 hours at approx £50. I dropped them off at their west London depot.

It took more than 2 days to leave the depot and a total of THREE MONTHS to return to me.

I applied for a postage refund and was told where to go because I had waited 16 days rather than the 14 days in their T&Cs.

I explained that I had placed the order through the employee in the depot who enters the info on their website and that I therefore had not ticked the "i agree to the terms and conditions box". Again the response was "well, you should have found out what the terms and conditions are"

I should have gone with DHL or UPS, although roughly the same price they had at least been honest about expected delivery times.

My suggestion for the next MSE poll:

When did you stop beating your partner?

  • I had an item from yodel, the clown showed up when nobody was in a dropped a BLANK card through the door. No name, no time, no nothing.

I contacted the people i ordered the item off and they sorted it out, I received the item the next day.

First time I've had business with them and hopefully the last.
  • Yodel are the only delivery company that leave blank cards and manage to damage Amazon deliveries (Amazon wraps things well!). They also have on one time thought that leaving outside was appropriate... in the rain...

Nice to see their CEO says that they take account of weather conditions before they leave stuff in random places. Maybe when he next gets his paycheque HR can leave it out in the rain a bit first then see if it can be cashed.
  • All my deliveries seem to be Yodel. No problems if i'm not in, card is left with details on.

Must be one of the better drivers.

Their is a problem with this, DHL International, DHL express, DHL Home is part of yodel, DHL Trade. They are run seperate and a lot are franshise.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
