omg the price of milk!!!!

just been to mr t's and the price of a 6 pinter of milk has rocketed from £1.96

to £2.12, cant believe it ....will be shopping around for my daily 6 pinters at
that price....wonder if other supermarkets will follow suit???? not happy!!:mad:


good news, went to mr' t's yesterday and the 6 pinters are 2 for £3 ....on promotion till 13/06...also the 4 pinters are 2 for £2....do u think they read my thread?.... lol

    I buy skimmed and you can only get 4 pint bottles. Until recently I was buying The One from Tesco @ £1.18 - I think that's now £1.28. Iceland sells 4 pint skimmed for £1.10 - it may be worth having a look there.

    Asda have Cravendale 2 x 2ltr for £2 if that helps anyone.

    You can get 2 of the £1.64 Cravendale 2L bottles at Asda for £2, long dated.

    It is SCARY how much everything is going up & up each week! I was behind a lady in Morrisons this morning who had a punnet of plums, she got them taken off her bill.........£2.48 for 6!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have done the same!

    6 pints is still £1.96 in M&S.Well it was yesterday...........
    I was shocked at the latest increase in Tesco, but they know that people will pay it!:rolleyes:

    What justification is used for such a hike in food prices? Its becoming impossible to put decent food on the table these days.........the price of bread/milk/eggs/fruit veg is rising rapidly. Sorry, rant over!

    I don't like overspending on food, but have to say Cravendale is a God-send in our house! We've never had one go off - easily lasts over a week!
