Can I get these "extra" calls included in my monthly allowance?

I have a new phone on T mobile (Flext package). Despite having plenty of credit unused at the end of the month I get charged extra for calls made to directory enquiries (118 247) or 0845 (when I rang my bank).

I appreciate these calls will be costly from a mobile but why can't they just deduct the amount from my monthly allowance when there is plenty in it to cover the cost of the calls?

This is how they make there money out of you, with Mobiles fast becoming more used than landlines and the more 0845/0870 numbers coming into use then they can see more and more people dialling those numbers and pushing up there bills and making a fat pile of cash out of us all.

DQ calls have always been chargeable sperately. Calls to 0845 on T- Mob can be made out of your inclusive minutes if you are able to use a gateway number.

A couple of suppliers (their are probaly more) using an 07744 number https://www.simply-fone.com However T-Mob are throttling 07744 traffic so its hard to get a connection some times.

Using an O2 07730 gateway number https://www.pre-dial.com click on Free Destination list.(Works Evening and Weekend,s only) .Tends to get very busy.

Both would come out of your inclusive x-net contract minutes.

Basically its a access number to another network (a gateway), which allows you to benefit from their cheaper rates.

When you call one you usually here a recorded annoucement just follow instructions carefully.;)

    Thanks utilitybroker

Do you know if Orange are throttling access to 07744 numbers or 07755 numbers ? I find it easy to get through in the small hours but at peak times very hard and I have alot of these 07744 numbers in my phone ?

Also I havent used the pre-dial number. Do orange throttle access to that at all ? Is the pre-dial number the only company to have an 02 number for gateway usage ? If so, how did they manage that ? (seems quite lucrative!)

    Thanks in advance
