I just feel someone has to say... £85 per month!!!! It's only the TV (and do you really call anyone that much?)
I pay £15 for the basic sky pack, £15 for a mobile with free broadband (8MB) and BT line rental with another £1 or so to cover the free evening and weekend mins.
You seem to be getting a lot of stuff but you need to ask, in a MSE way, do you really need all that? That's £1020 per year on your telly and broadband. Still, it's your money (at least until you hand it over to Sir Dickie...)Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0 -
If you only want basic services, you can get the Virgin 3 for £30 offer, phone tv and broadband for £30 a month.
If you want all the channels, including sky sports and movies, a high definition hard disc recorder, an extra box for the bedroom, 10mb broadband (which doesn't change depending on how far you are from the exchange), free calls to landline and cheap calls to everywhere else, then the £85 a month deal is brilliant.0 -
That sounds superb..we are delighted at the thought of this :T:T:T:TIf you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0

NTL or Virgin Media whatever you want to call it are doing some deals at the minute,
i got
4mb BROADBAND
TALK UNLIMITED-24
L-TV PACK
FOR £30PER ONTH FOR LIFE
or as long as i stay on this contract,
suits me,plenty of channels and saved a fortune per month compared to what it should of been.0 -
Err Fox 2319, that's around £45 a month you pay for bog basics, I doubt if yor BB wil be 8m in anything but name.
The above expensive package does include an "improved 3 tuner Sky+/Tivo box and multiroom equivelent", full speed BB and if I remember correctly a mobile with inclusive mins. So you are hardly comparing like with like. Each to his own.
In true MSE style, I get something similar, less premium chs and mobile for £35 a month, but how long for, before the screw is turned I dont know.;)ac's lovechild0 -

what TV channels do you get with L-TV

Of course you'll also be giving your money to Rupert Murdoch whichever you do, I seem to recall (not sure if this is true) that he bought a large share in ntl to stop the virgin takeover bid, so either way he wins.0
