Hi, this is the Daily Thread for xx (add date). This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

:hello: Gooooood Morning fellow OS’ers :D:D

Phew! Nice to have a pocket of time to be able to get on the computer!!! Haven’t had a chance to read and catch up with everyone’s news yet, but hoping that everyone is as well as can be expected in their own particular set of circumstances and those who were suffering with the ‘flu are now on the road to recovery.

The house needs a thorough hovering and polishing today, the wind has dropped a bit, but not completely, so I’ll give the house a good airing too.

Admin day at home today, my desk is stacking up with all sorts! Need to put the coupons I have into date order so I don’t end up throwing any away – threw a few out earlier in the week, they’d got hidden among some receipts and passed their use by dates. Felt guilty about throwing them out, almost like throwing real cash away :o

Off to put the BM on and make a coffee :DWishing you all a fun and frugal Friday

Good morning, all I hope today finds you well and if not, <<<<hugs>>>>.
The weather has improved thank goodness, still blowing and wet but nothing like yesterday.
It's my eldest's birthday today, all of 7 years old and so it's Party time later - made the jelly last night and will organise the rest after work.
My last early until next Tuesday today thank goodness, I am not a morning person and I do find it rather a struggle to get up.
Anyway - time to sort out the kids before I get going. Take care everyone and have a good one.

Queenie, what do you think of my Stardrops: A Users Guide Thread?

Do you think people will use it?

Is there anyway we can index it or keep it stuck to the top of the page. I am happy to monitor, index and edit it if you show me how.

Morning. It was an incredible windy night and I could nor sleep. I found some loose slates on the roof yesterday, so was worried about that. Hopefully my neighbours nephews will fix it as they are builders and I am not climbing up there.
I am off to prison today..................But only as a visitor:D . Job related.
4 days off after 3.30pm and party tonight, so nice weekend coming up.
Ebay sales did well last night, sold 10/15 and made £30 profit. So every little helps....
