OS Daily Thread SUNDAY 14TH January 07

Options
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 14th Jan. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Morning all.
No one on here yet? That does surprise me!!
Plans for today are footy, make bread, have a roast dinner, and play with the kids.
Followed by usual sunday night bath time routine followed by a film.
A chil out day.
Hope you are all well.
Donna

    Morning Donna!!

No such thing as a lie in here - have to take my DS race training to start at 8.30!

Still, it is beautiful sitting here in the conservatory with the moon shining on one side and the sun rise just beginning on the other. They say the best things in life are free and I think this is one of them!

Have a good day everyone who follows.

Now, off to put the kettle on.....

Morning. No rain for a change!!!!!!!!:D
It's my Mum's birthday today and so we have a fairly full day planned. Church first off, all 4 kids are playing in the Youth band today, so that will be good to see.
Parents up for tea. Roast beef, which I have not bought yet!! I have a good market butcher who I shall see in an hour or so, problem solved.
Had a great day shopping yesterday. Bought another load of e-bay stuff in the sale... Should make 150% I hope.
Pay day tomorrow! Things seem to be pretty good....
NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!
  • Morning everyone

Baby slept last night in his cot in his own room, so i slept a bit better, but still was woken at 5:45. DH let me have a lie in yesterdasy, and offered again today, but i'll save that offer for when i really need it.

Just organising myself for the day. I've got some salmon out for tea to have with roast sweet potatoes and probably some salad.

I want to change our bedding, hoover through, and clean where i can as it will be a busy week next week as i've made some plans to occasionally leave the house. ;)

The priority of the day is for DH to finish his tax return so i know what money to transfer from savings to pay the bill.

Haven't read the thread for a couple of days, so hugs to anyone who needs one.

    Michelle, xx

    Morning all :hello:

Up bright and early (for a Sunday :D) as I was awoken by a crashing sound from the next room at 7am. The box my artificial Christmas tree lives in had fallen open and the pole and stand had fallen out onto the floor

Just sitting here with a cuppa at the moment and listening to Radio 3 which is a nice way to wake up properly. I will need to be at church at 10 for choir practice and then after the service will have to come straight home to let Dad in. By the end of today I should have a fully curtained flat and a built wardrobe... but then that's what I said yesterday :p ... we shall see!

Hope you're all OK this morning and I'm sure I'll be back later

    Rzl xx

    Morning all

No lie in for me either but I don't mind. DD was up bright and breezy and demanding some breakfast :D So I've just taken the chance to take the dry washing off the airer and put some more on. I have a friend coming with her little girl this afternoon so I'm going to have a quick run round with the hoover this morning.
