If you send me your IMEI number, the network its locked to, and where you are based (uk, europe etc) and i will send you back an unlock code and instructions of how to do it.Rock on MSE!!!0

Thanks for the offer. Will let you know if I need it it.
Up to now I have used the Swedish site (Trytickill ?) which has been great but does not have the 2650.
I have also downloaded some software called NokiaFree Calculator (has a smiley as the prog Icon) which has the 2650. Can anyone tell me if it is as reliable ?
I have also had some probs with a 3200 which would not unlock using either lock 1 or 7 using either of tese two. Does this happen sometimes ??0 -
if the settings are ASIC 2 for phone type and 32779 (called Original) for the box serial then it is correct...for the 2650
yes. for the 3200 sometimes code 1 or 7 might not do it , try code 5..but check first it is not unlocked by putting another network sim card in there, you will get code error sometimes even if it is unlockedEx forum ambassador

Thanks. Used up my 5 free tries and it is now telling me (only with another SIM) that the phone is restricted and asking me to an enter a code. Does this mean that I can no longer do anything myself or can I somehow find the code, or am I stuck with using it with the SIM it is locked to ?
Thanks for your help !! Is this problem specific to 3200s. I have unlocked other Nokias from the Swedish site with no probs at all.0 -
After entering the code five times it becomes 'Hard Locked' the only way to unlock it is by taking to a shop to be unlocked via a cable.

nokia have got in the habit of changing the box serial numbers quickly now on their mobiles to try to stop unlocking, for examle there are now 3 different ones for the 7600, 2 for the 6610i and possibly a third one for that as well and as for the new nokia 6630...looks like there are 2 locks on that, using different settings for both !!
I think you have just been unlucky on this occasion , I have unlocked loads of theseEx forum ambassador
