The park will not be open but the Swimming pool will be.
Be quick, there wont be many of these.

WARNING - IT IS "NATURIST WEEKEND" NEXT WEEKEND, SO YOU MAY NOT WANT TO GO TO THE WATERPARK!!!
WOW, I didn't think this was going to be this popular!!! Many thanks to all for the thanks and I hope you all have a great time.
Many thanks to crispyuk for the info posted below.
Just wanted to make a post to clear up some of the confusion regarding the hotels. I run http://towersalmanac.com so hopefully you can take this as a trusted source! If the OP wants to include any/all of this in the first people so people see it then please free to do so!
There's 2 hotels on site at Alton Towers, the Alton Towers Hotel and the Splash Landings Hotel. Alton Towers Hotel has the Captain's Bar, Dragon's Bar, Secret Garden Restaurant and Spa attached. Splash Landings has the Cariba Creek Waterpark, Flambo's Restaurant and Ma Garrita's Bar. Guests can use the facilities of both hotels and they are interconnected with a walkway.
The site does state that selected bars and hotels may be closed during quieter periods.
Rooms: The Alton Towers Hotel has good sized rooms (bigger than those in Splash Landings) and double / family rooms are the same price so take a family room for even more space! The en-suite bathrooms are a little dated but they're clean and have a bath and shower.
Eating: Flambo's restaurant is an all-you-can eat buffet priced at £18.95 for adults, I don't remember the kids price I'm afraid. Alternatively the Secret Garden Restaurant serves an a la carte menu with main courses ranging from £8.75 - £18.25. There is of course plenty of nice pubs in Alton Village which are a cheaper option if you've got a car.
Swimming: The 'basic' swimming pool closed when Cariba Creek Waterpark opened and has now become part of the Alton Towers Spa. Under 4's go free in the waterpark, adults can pre-book for £8 if stopping in the hotel or £12 on the day. Prices are per day. You can't pre-book online so give the hotel a call.
Parking: Parking charges only apply for the theme park car parks, hotel parking has always been free of charge.
Things to Do: Plenty to do around the Staffordshire area, also Alton Towers will turn the clock back to more traditional times by offering guests the opportunity to visit the house and gardens between 10am and 4pm. What's more, free guided tours of the house will be available at 11am and 2pm, giving visitors an insight into the rich history of the Towers! Refreshments will be available en-route. £5 for adults and £2 for under 16s, tickets from the Hotel Reception. Selected dates only - November 11/12/18/19/25, December 2/3/9/10/16.
It's definitely a bargain price compared to the usual rates and it's a nice hotel. There was plenty of availability when I booked earlier and rooms are £9.99 or £19.99 (Saturday nights I think) once you get them into the basket on lastminute.
