Evesham nav-cam 6200 sat nav £99

in It's gone, but was it any good?
Asda have this sat nav for £99 it is a very compact unit, I have bought one and it does the job very well and has a speed camera database which can be updated online (free for 6 months) although evesham tell me the website update wont be live until next week.

ps it is also an mp3 player and a photo viewer via the removable memory card

    Zilch on this on google. I'm assuming this is so new that even Evesham weren't expecting it to go on sale yet?

    This was posted in another thread, and apparently it's touch screen, so i'm interested!
    I've also found nothing on the search though.

    Evesham are also sometimes badged under BLUEMEDIA
    It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

    Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

    Update: Just been to my local Asda to be confronted with a huge display of these (Well, the empty boxes). Looks very good to me, so took one to the CS desk for her to get the item and put it in the box so I can then pay for it. 'We haven't got any left, I'm afraid' she says. 'But there are at least 30 boxes on that display?' 'Yes, they sent us loads of boxes but only 7 satnav units, they are sending more soon' she replies. !!!!!!? I have a feeling someone has rushed this into retail.

    Hey guys/girls,

    I work for ASDA on the very department these come under and must say I'm surprised they've already gone on sale as they are embargoed until Thursday 9th. Mind you I had a customer earlier asking and had to inform him I couldn't sell them yet and he told me other stores are already selling them.
    I also have an onhand of 7 units according to the system yet I have a box of 12 in todays delivery. Mind you after a weeks holiday theres a LOT of 'new' stock that I need to sort out as no one else touches the electricals!

    No it doesnt look like any of those although I guess it looks similar to the 7000 series but without the buttons on the right of the screen as the 6200 is just a touchscreen and it is very compact

    I bought mine in Norwich and they definitely still had some today as there were at least 3 boxes in their display and the units are already in the boxes.
