ICICI transfer

Just tried my first transfer out of ICICI. It doesn't work.
Got through to the call centre very quickly and a pleasant person said the transfer process is down at the moment. Has been down since yesterday and is expected to be up tomorrow (more info than most call centres).
He can't do it by phone but I can email the account manager from the secure connecttion and the transfer would be made.
If that all works then I'll carry on using them. I've asked for nearly all funds to be transferred leaving about 1k to test transfers.
Must admit the call centre was pleasently fast, polite, clear and informative otherwise I would have been out.

Phew. Tried a transfer yesterday - didn't work. Tried it again this morning - didn't work. Came onto this site to see if anyone else had a problem and found this thread ! :-)0

Tried again just now - still doesn't work.
No phone call from icici - no reply to emails.
By the lack of any other posts I guess not many people are using them.0 -
I think it's just the fact that not many are trying to transfer out. I tried in the early hours of this morning - the confirmation screen is essentially blank; i.e. no confirmation button. Sent a 'secure message.' No reply as yet, and the transfer out is still broken.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Calling them again.
Got through quickly again - almost instant.
No problems with operator - again clear and efficient - is looking at my account.

Apologises for the time taken

oops - music (very distorted piano)

not looking good - have a feeling I've been lost - I'll try again as it doesn't take long to get through.
Trying again - 5 secs to answer
On hold while access account - same music so maybe I wasn't lost.
Got details
She said that emails are actioned within 48 hours so I should expect a response today or tomorrow.
She said they were expecting this to be fixed by now but have no further information.
I suggested that she tells the site support to put a message on the site rather than just leaving a blank screen.
Overall the call centre is very good - just depends on how long it takes to action the emails.0 -
I've not been able to transfer anything from my linked account to them for the past few days.I'm starting to losing confidence in this outfit. In an Acapulco hotel:

Don't hold your breath! :rolleyes:0 -
The transfer facility is still not working, as at the time of this post.
Yesterday I sent a secure message (unanswered) and an email (you've guessed) about this issue.0 -
Well I did a transfer in by Direct Debit last week. The amount was debited twice from my current account on the 6th and 10th instead of just once on the 6th, sending me massively overdrawn. I've contacted my current account provider to reclaim the 2nd debit under Direct Debit Guarantee but they (Cahoot) say it might be up to 2 days before the money is back in my account. Fortunately I have enough in the cahoot savings (which I've transferred) to cover SO's and DDs in the next few days, and they say they'll refund any overdraft interest.
I've also emailed ICICI to find out what the hell happened and why the transaction on the 6th did not appear in my icici account but the one from today appeared as 'uncleared funds'. And of course where the £1.2k has gone!!! Judging by the response rate reported above though I'm not holding my breath with these monkeys.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0
