Morning Guys

Not a good night here again! Not sure what is biting me...think some king of midge of something:confused:...but my arms are all swollen where ive been bitten.

WM is on. DW will need to go on later and toilet is clean. The house is still clean and tidy from last week. Have SIL here today who will do a few jobs and me ironing for me.

The yogurts have just been put in the fridge and have set very well. Will take some piccies in a while and post them, am dead impressed and the total cost for 1 litre of yogurt was about 90p. Will be cheaper the next time as I will hold back some of this yogurt for it, so will cost about 35p for the 6 jars.

Have hospital this morning, but DD can stay with SIL whilst she's here-we shouldnt be too long.

I MUST get my head around the essay today and sort out the parcels this morning.

Anyway, will pop on later with an update.

Breakie: Yogurt & Fruit with toast
Lunch: Chicken Salad roll
Dinner: Chicken Muck Muck with rice

Hugs to all.

Mornin PP and everyone that follows

Still half asleep here munching on toast.

PP- What's CHICKEN MUCK MUCK? :rotfl:

I need to get a few bits of shopping today coffee, bread, potatoes but that's about it I think.
I hope everyone is well, I will pop back when I have woken up:p
  • LeftOver Chicken with a tin of watered down campbells soup and we put veg in it, or you can add pasrty topping and have as a pie. We prefer the muck muck with rice. Like a chicken supreme and we add mushrooms sometimes.

    Good morning PP and ageandjo,

PP - hope hospital goes ok today x

Well, all my plans for today will prob go out the window, have 3 extra children here today, and had planned a nice walk and a trip to the park, but its been raining over night, so will have to think again. They prob wont even be able to play in the garden which is a nuisence, but never mind, will find something they want to do!!!!!
Nothing major planned today, although i must remember DDs speach therapy later, i forgot the last appointment, and feel really bad about it, my fault completely, but luckily they have made another for her, rather than having to wait months again to get back onto the list.
Right, off to finish my cuppa, hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

:hello: Good morning Penny-Pincher! ageandjo and catowen, and all who post while I'm s-l-o-w-l-y typing!!

Dull and lovely and cool here today! Rained in the night, maybe even a worthwhile amount, because the garden chairs have puddles in the seats.:D

PP you are good! My yogurt maker was courier delivered Friday evening. It's still sat in it's box!:rotfl: Good luck at the hospital!

ageandjo hope you have a good day, and no encounters with nasty neighbours.

catowen, at last you didn't use all the rain up before it got here!! With your littlies you can do without wet grass, but I'd really like it. Maybe it'll dry up enough for them to go out later? Good luck to DD for speech therapy.

Off for some tea now, no be honest, off to reheat the tea that's gone cold!

    Check in later. CMx

:D Oooo.. only four posts! Morning Penny Pincher, Ageanjo and Catowen.:j

All those bites sound awfull PP, I tend to 'react' to bites too so tend to have to take anti histamines whenever it happens. I remember once when I moved into a council flat years ago I complained bitterly that it was infested with fleas... Only it wasn't... It turned out I was reacting to 'shake and vac'!
Looked just like bites to me :p I have known an odd 'red' ant to get caught in the bedroom and give me grief in the past - do you think it could be something like that? One ant going round several times overnight can give many bites...

Ageanjo - will shortly join you with a cuppa... hoping to finish typing this before mine goes cold, lol.

Catowen - From all your other posts I'm sure you'll find something great for them to do. I'm going to have to do some paper mache at some point in the hols as at that festival DS3 had a go at pottery and loved getting his hands really mucky with it. He says he wants to do some other moddeling that gets him really mucky so I think it'll have to be that! That said, I could allways send him down to the quagmire that was my lawn ;)

The Sun has reappeared this morning so I'm hoping it'll dry out the garden a bit. If it's to stay dry I'll probably do a couple of hours housework (hard to tell where the garden stops and house begins at the mo!) before getting another good workout in the garden. Hopefully there still won't be nay bodies Churchmouse.... however I did dig up two paving slabs layed together yesterday and have yet to dig under them.....
Lol, just gone 'advanced' before posting and I can see that you've posted as I type Churchmouse! My tea is still hot so going to drink quickly :D
That film you watched last night sounds really good - you've got me wanting to watch it now:rolleyes: Hope you find the book you're looking for,

    Morning all

PP - Good luck at the hospital.

Cat - Good luck with 3 little ones.

Kettle's on for anyone wanting a warm(er) cuppa!

I've only got the one little one today (plus my DD's) and yes it's been raining and the grass looks a little damp - hopefully it will dry off before too long. We were going to have a walk along the cliffs and find the cow field this morning, but that might be a bit muddy too. Instead I think we'll make some cakes and I'll make up a batch of really sticky gooey playdough - they love getting really sticky don't they. Then it will be an afternoon of dressing up - the little one I have today has just discovered the fun of tottering around on play shoes with a nice handbag and a featherboa strung round his neck:rotfl:

DH is off work with a bad head cold so he'll can spend the day in bed or applying for new jobs (he's got a bee in his bonnet about it at the moment - like they do) He's also going to apply to the housing association, after BRzl got her flat we looked into the partownership thing and we're eligable! Going to phone and have a chat.

Need to get the BM at some stage today too.

    Have a good day all.

    Morning :hello:

Off to work in a mo, the boss is in today so we'll be fighting over office space lol. I'll go in for a bit just to sort the wages out then come straight back home again and work here.

I didn't get round to cleaning the animals out yesterday, I couldn't put them in the garden as it was raining so I'll have to do it today instead. They get cleaned out every other day so it never smells in the house, so how come I'm only one day late and they absolutely STINK? Maybe it was the strawberries I gave them last night  :D

    Thinking of you PP.

Hope everyone has a great day, see you later

;) Morning all...(((((HUGS)))) to those who need them and good luck PP at the hospital. I have a problem with bites too, have to take antihistimine as soon as I find a bite otherwise its big trouble. I still have a scar on my leg from our French trip last year, was bitten by a horse fly and the whole of my right leg swelled up from knee to ankle, very painful!!!

Much cooler morning..... OH has gone off to cut our neighbours grass for her and then we have a trip to Tesco to do the monthly shop.........I was in Wilko's yesterday got an inner pad for my cushion covers for 80p, needed to see if it was ok, you need the pads bigger than the cover so they puff up nicely, its fine so will go back today for 8 more........I managed yesterday to get my friend router to talk to her computer, so she is on line, she managed to send me a message last night, so just need to keep on with the lessons now.......:T :T :T

Right, off to clean the living room whilst OH is out, a load of washing to go in tonight and need to put the breadmaker on too, eating plastic bread this morning, always keep a loaf in the freezer just in case!!!!

    Coffee calls.....................
