Hi we are also getting married on 4th September 2010, local church wedding and then off to the Vale Hotel in Hensol.

Without wanting to be depressed it would be good to know how far with planning/booking other couples are!? We have church and reception booked and thats about it!
  • I have Favors ( cancer research) and wedding/reception/first night booked....oh and starting the task of growing my own confetti!

    Hi ... we're getting married on 4th September 2010 as well :)

so far i have booked the curch but thats it really. I know where i want the reception but as its not somewhere that does weddings (or anything similer at is a Barn in the village i grew up in) I don't know if we can have it there ... waiting for my dad to call the owners so hopefully they say yes!

How is everyone in Sept next year getting on? The October thread seems very popular so I thought I'd bump this!

Our CP is 3rd September, with the idea that our guests have an extra day over the weekend to recover from their hangovers!! ;-)

We have provisionally booked our reception venue. Found a really lovely place for a separate, intimate family ceremony but the quote came in more than we wanted, so we are going to cancel that and hold the day all in one place. It means giving notice again at the Registrars... but an extra £60 to save £500 is probably worth it!

I am currently looking at invites and will be sending save-the-dates in the new year...
