Ford Ka's @£4996 new - selling quick

I just got the car of my dreams brand new for more than £2000 off the usual price, with a years AA and 6 months tax.
Seems to be some sort of Ford Bonanza - if they sell enough off them by the end of the month they get a bonus.
Just put in a search for Ford Ka, price less than 5000 into any of Martin's recommended sites for car buying searches to find a dealer with the offer.
Best of luck

A neighbour bought a Picasso fromhttp https://www.carselect.lloydstsb.com and was raving about the good deal. A few days ago he told me they had bought the car back off him as they had invalidated the warranty with regards to fitting a non citreon tow hitch.

If you shop around you can get any new car a lot cheaper.
£2000 off a Ka is quite good though, as it is already a cheap car.
Cheapest online I can find for a Ka is £5,5000 -
Well done Katey! That's an excellent saving on a great car. There are always deals about on some makes (because they're not very good
) but any deal on a modern Ford is well worth having. Can I help?0 -
I was looking at the KA and I think I read somewhere that they are discontinuing one model which is why prices are discounted. I can't remember which model it was though.

Katey, that is a cracking deal you've got there. The Ka is not being discontinued the new model is planned for 2009 so there are a good few years left in this one. As you mentioned the dealer will get his bonus centrally from Ford Motor Company for selling a certain number of cars hence his incentive is to make little (or no) profit on individual deals as he will make his money if he reaches his target.
I work for Ford and get a discount however your deal even beats an employee price.0 -

A true MSE'r, the car of your dreams not a petrol guzzling SUV/boy racer/posing wagon!
Well done Katey!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it

If I remember rightly it was on the honestjohn forum. A ford employee said something about the 1.3 engine being discontinued as it had already been pensioned off by Ford. He also said you should ask ford to fit a larger reserviour for something, which they will do free of charge, as the standard fit one is too small. Trouble is I can't remember what the reserviour was for. I'll ask OH when he's home from work.

So do ford offer a pricematch? You show them the offer online and they match it?
Do they offer any free extras? Ie , free insurance?
And how much interest do they charge for finance?0 -

This is one of Martin's car dealers, and they are doing £5,000 off a new car that I am interested in.
Unfortunately I don't have the cash until June, but have saved the link.0
