My new SOA - need motivation

Hi all. Now my ex is leaving I've decided to do a new SOA. I know what you're already going to say, but maybe if people tell me I'll actually do it! I haven't used the template, because most of it doesn't apply and so I need to explain things as I go.
Number of adults: 1
Number of children: 0
Cars: 1.
Rent from council, get benefits and so no rent or council tax.
Income: 920 (this is per 4 weeks, but I get in a mess if I work it out per month as most months the income is less, and so for the first year I have to base it on four weekly amounts until I've got the spare money saved to cover it).
Outgoings:
Electric: 41
Water: 28 (have permission for a water meter, it's on my list of things to sort out in the next few weeks)
Food (sister): 120 (She's unemployed and I buy her food. No idea how long this will go on for. Can't lower this as she complains it's not enough as it is)
Food (me): 120 (Can't lower this, I have ME and can't batch cook or cook from scratch due to fatigue and pain. Have to buy ready prepared food which is more expensive.
Credit union savings: 5
Petrol: 80 (hopefully this will go down with ex going, but as I have limited mobility I have to drive everywhere. It's a motability car so no other car costs).
Tv licence: 12
Landline: 15
Broadband: 10
Sky tv: 35 (I know I need to get rid)
Mobile: 10 (I prefer to make calls to mobiles using this so I know where I am instead of running up bills. My sister only has a mobile. I get free texts)
Insurance: 12 (I don't have this yet, but it's on my list to sort out asap)
Cleaner: 50 (This is a guesstimate based on £10 an hour. I'm thinking I'll need an hour a week for basic cleaning of the flat, and a deeper clean every two or three months)
Personal spending: 100 (this includes presents, entertainment, hairdressing, clothes etc).
Holiday: 30 (I like to go to Leeds festival every year, I could cut it out for a year or two though I suppose)
Total: 658.
Now the things I need to save up for:
Next month I'm going to Leeds festival with my sister, so I need £100 for our food, drink, and a new trangia stove.
Home things: I need more storage, and the place is getting rewired next year, so I need to save up for redecorating costs. I've recently got a grant for a sofa and bed but need to put money towards. So in the next few months I need £100, and then over the next 18 months I need to save up around £500.
I've got a holiday booked in December, I need £100 for the holiday, then spending money. It's only for three days though, but the friends I'm going with have expensive tastes and usually want to drink in rounds etc. I think I need £150 to make sure I have enough.
Education: Over the next three years I need £100 per year for OU courses, then in the fourth year I need around £3500 for a masters.
Debts: I want to clear these within the next year to 18 months, I think for full and finals I'll need to save up around £1200.
Car repairs: My car has been vandalised and I need an insurance claim which is £75.
If there are any maths geniuses out there who can work out how much I need to save towards each one a month that'd be great, I've been trying to work it out myself but my brain packed its bags and ran away!
I'm waiting for a social services assessment and may need to pay for some of the care, when I was assessed last time I didn't have to pay though so I'm working on the assumption that I wont this time.
Please be harsh, but don't be judgemental.

Hi Ames
Can't offer much advice right now as I have to be somewhere, but I'd check what your sister is spending that £120 on - both me and my cat manage to live on half that a fortnight!
Might be able to do some number crunching for you later

She has expensive tastes - her favourite meal is pasta with dolmio sachet sauce, bacon and scallops. It's taken me long enough to get her down to £30 a week, to start with it was £80!! I do the shopping with her and I'm shocked at what she buys, but she complains that she can't afford lunches and can only eat once a day on that much. I've been thinking of trying to get her down to £100, but I just can't see it happening.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

But uhmmm... why are you paying for her food??????DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Hiya,
This is quite strange really as I was going to go shopping tonight for food for someone else. They've got themselves into real trouble with money and think they can't afford to go food shopping but will buy lunch from a cafe every day! Madness.
I can't afford to get them much and was a bit worried they'd complain about the food being the "cheap stuff" but then I thought I'd just use the tough approach. That way, they'll either be forced to eat affordable food or they'll have to go to someone else for help (which is a bit selfish of me but I think it's a bit harsh to be picky when other people are paying for things for you)
I have no idea if I have actually said anything constructive there? I'm so bad at writing what I'm thinking ha ha.
Anyway good luck with everything0 -
She's still waiting to get jobseekers, but even when she does it's only £50 a week, her direct debits are £110 a month not including household bills. So she can't afford her food. Dad's been paying her rent and bills, so I've got off pretty lightly!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Uhmmm no... I don't see why you're paying for her food at all! She's got your dad paying her bills and you buying her favourite meals which are not cheap! If she can't get off her butt and find a job she'll take what she's given and be greatful or get nothing at all surely???
You cannot afford to be subsidising her food tastes... ensure she doesn't starve by all means but stop pandering to her scallop addiction!

Tell you what... if she's not working... you need a cleaner... She can at the very least do that - 2-3 hours a week won't kill her. You're not paying her money but feeding her instead, she's also not working for you but helping out her sister who's poorly so won't affect her jobseekers... at least that saves you paying for a cleaner as well as your sisters grubDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Without being rude your sister needs a kick up the pants.
I have to live on £50 a week (£200 a month) and from that I pay £100 towards my rent the rest being covered by HB and CTB. I pay all my bills and still have enough left over for food - mind you I batch cook and freeze and my debt through me being frugal is minimal You might think that this is mad but I came off the dole which was more money for me to set up my own business. So it can be done.
From now on let your sister do her own food shopping - she needs to learn to stand on her own two feet and she is never going to do that if you shop for her all the time.0 -
She is trying to get a job, I've been taking her to the interviews. There's just not much out there.
She wont clean here. When she moved up to Leeds it was supposed to be partly so she could provide my care, but she can never fit it in. Last time she came she walked back out again saying it was too messy and she wouldn't help.
She has no money at all though, for some reason her JSA hasn't been paid. And I can really do without the family hassle for letting her down.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I totally agree with Mrs Tine. on the face of it without knowing the in's and out's it seems like your sister is taking the mickey out of you and your generosity.
Beggars cant be Choosers! She cannot dictate to you that she want XYZ to eat and You will pay for it!
She isnt working therefore she can do the cleaning, batch cooking and ironing - dont let her live rent free xxxO/S Debt: PL £[STRIKE]15207.34[/STRIKE] £9884.55; HSBC £4060.99; Tesco£1430.15; M&S £5990.17; Virgin [STRIKE]£5158.69[/STRIKE] £4210.14; Egg £4619.00; O/S = ££30,292.42 AIM - To Be Debt Free 56 months0
