Hmm, I was doing well getting things sorted... but getting new things on ebay and freecycle before getting rid of the old was a bad idea, as the place is even messier now! Unavoidable though, since they were bargains that wouldn't wait.

I have pm'd a board guide, last weekend, so maybe I'll just start a new one with a link.

I'm going to use the duvet because of having the old one from my bed anyway, rather than buying new. I'll probably have to get blankets as well though since this flat is so blooming cold in winter. Roll on the new heating sometime in the next 6 years!

Redmel, glad you understood what I was getting at with the OU stuff!

Wow, if I didnt know you better I would have thought that the stuff about your sister scrounging off you was a wind up.
She has actually been costing you a lot more than £120 a month as you are paying interest on that amount each month that it does not go towards paying your debts.
Hope things go okay, you dont need people like that in your life, she's a user.

I'm not paying interest, my debts are with debt collectors (or are to the bank of dad).

And she cost me a hell of a lot this weekend (Leeds festival) because I bought the ticket, food, drink, equipment, petrol.... and she had the cheek to keep my change whenever she went to buy me anything! But anyway, it's over now. And I'm not buying her food and stuff anymore. I've made a lot of positive changes since I started this thread!

I wondered how you got on at the Leeds Festival this weekend - was it good (despite sister)?

Not really - I missed half of it. We didn't get there till mid afternoon Friday, then Saturday had to go into town and hunt for a cooker that didn't run off gas, then sunday it rained all day, and I only saw Kaiser Chiefs. Heard a few bands from the guest bar though who were good. The most interesting bit was playing spot the Hollyoaks actor, half the cast were in the guest area with us.

I did end up getting four new bags though! An official Leeds Festival linen one, a big sturdy attitude is everything (charity that campaigns for disabled access to gigs) linen one, a funky silky sequinny festival one reduced to £3, and one that came free with the Observer. So I shouldn't need to buy a new bag for years!

And, I didn't fall down and get covered in mud this year, which has to be a bonus!

I think once I've slept and recovered properly I'll start remembering the good stuff, but right now there was so much crap that that's just taking over my mind.
