How many of you put your children in clean PJ's every night?
All 3 of mine have clean PJ's/nighties every night, I know, I know, think of the washing.
But it's a habit I just cannot break.
When the boys stay with their dad he makes them wear the PJ'S for 2-3 nights, which they are not happy about
This certainly isn't someything from my childhood, I never had a clean nightie every night, but something I've done since they were born.
I've discussed this with friends, some have managed to kick the habit and have obviously noticed the savings in their washing. But would saving money on the washing/drying/ironing be enough for you to change less often?

GS gets clean pj's most nights cos of nappy leaks but if they are dry in the morning they do another time
Same with all his clothes tbh. Some days he can be changed twice a day, othertimes the clothes come off clean and dry and they go on again for the morning. Yes he feeds himself but I have an all over bib which keeps the worse off.
I want to spend time with my GS - not a fashion icon and certainly dont want to be wading through a pile of washing and ironing:D0 -
Sorry, my kids have clean pjs every few days (unless they spill something on them), they certainly don't get ironed! (Although I am out most days and don't really have the time for excessive washing and ironing - student nurse)0

My older ds's have clean pjs after a bath (couple of times a week) unless they've had a really slobby day at the weekend and haven't got dressed
when I've got them to change into fresh pjs for bed.
My baby dd has clean pjs/sleepsuit every 2-3 days - depends if she gets weetabix/milk over themPlease do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

BTW, pjs always best if ironed - feel crisp and fresh but a pain for mePlease do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I have 3 children aged 11, 10 and 5 and they have clean pjs every few days, i have so much washing anyway that i just could'nt cope with changing them every day. They have underwear on under the pjs which is changed daily...0

I don't iron nightwear either for the same reasons, i try to make life easier where ever possible.....0

My 2 year old has clean sleepsuit or pjs every night, as he is still in nappies, even though they don't leak, we are still in the habit of changing them.
My 6 year old has a clean nightie or pjs about once or twice a week, or more frequently if she spills cereal on it.
But I don't iron nightclothes at all. In fact, there is very little that I iron, just try to buy clothes that don't need ironing.0 -
I suppose with the ironing it depends whether they are cotton jersey or ordinary cotton.0

But if they have never had then ironed at all they won't know the difference!:rotfl:0 -
I know its not relevant but I am intrigued why people wear underwear under night clothes... my grandchildren all wear pants under their PJ's , WHY? I ask but they really don't know why , they just do it... anyone?#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
