Default Hilton Hotels 50% off January to August worldwide weekend room sale

Updated 29 December 2008

Hilton up to 50% off sale
Also see £9 Travelodge Sale and the full Cheap Hotels Guide.

What's the deal?

Luxury hotel chain Hilton has a half price sale on rooms in 220 of its hotels in Europe, Asia, the Middle East & Africa (the promotion excludes hotels in Australasia and both North and South America) for stays between January and August. Plus breakfast is included in the price too.

Examples of what's on offer include rooms in Central London or Colombo for £50/night, Barcelona for £55/night, Cairo, Dublin or Valencia for £60/night and Florence or Kuala Lumpur for £65/night.

And as Valentine's Day falls on a Saturday in 2009, you could bag yourself a good deal on a romantic weekend away if you're organised and act fast.

How to find the cheap rooms
  • Step 1: Pick your hotel

Go to Hilton's website and chose the dates and city where you'd like to stay. The cheap prices are only for Friday, Saturdays and Sunday stays (ie 1-3 nights).

There's limited availability for each hotel and date, plus Hilton's room finder isn't the easiest tool to use when trying to find the cheapest date to stay, so it's a question of trial and error.
  • Step 2: Book

A list of hotels in the area with available rooms will appear. If you check a specific hotel it will tell you on the results page whether the price you've got is a sale price or a normal price.
If you spot a bargain room, please post the details below so other MoneySavers can benefit too

Things to watch out for

When looking for rooms, make sure the promotion code P37JAS has been applied (you'll see it at the top of your search page), otherwise you'll get prices at full whack. This is because multiple tooing and throwing to find the cheapest deal sometimes causes the code to 'disappear', so make sure you keep an eye on it.

Rooms are only discounted for stays between Friday and Sunday, so from one night up to a maximum of three, plus you must pay for them in full at the time of booking. Rooms are neither refundable or venue/dates changable.

For more hotel bargains see the Cheap Hotels guide.

Many thanks to MoneySaver amsquared for spotting this great deal! This note's been inserted to give more detailed info.

Default Hilton Hotels 50% off January to August worldwide weekend room sale

Good deals on Hilton Hotels in their January Sale eg weekends at the Hilton Metropole in London for about £60 a night including breakfast...

What better way to celebrate 2009 than with up to 50% off select weekend breaks from now until the end of August when you book before January 31st 2009.
So, whether it's Prague in winter, Paris in spring, or summer in Rome, you can afford to spoil yourself by getting away from it all as many times as you like until the end of the summer.

Since January 2009 - kids yellow retro car, case of Spitfire, DVD, Nazareth tkts, ConticomfortKit, Charm massager! Vax Agility, M&S Lingerie, 2 Perfumes & 6 other Cosmo prizes, Metro/Tiger Beer Bangkok Holiday, Tkts travel and hotel for BGT, £10 cheque, Fitflop weekend in Berlin, Ed Fringe Tkts, Turnberry Weekend

I got three nights at the Hiton Metropole in London in February for £59 each night including breakfast.

This was through lastminute.com. The Hilton site was asking £80 for two of the nights and £110 for the third. So I think this is a real bargain.

Thanks, I usually go for the cheapest b&b possible when I'm in London but there are some very reasonable prices there so I may as well treat myself!

I'd suggest either the Hilton Trafalgar which is right by Trafalgar Square or the Waldorf which is on the Strand. Metropole is nice but not really within walking distance. Or Park Lane - but not sure what their offers are. Ooh, actually Hilton Green Park is right near Picadilly, so that would be most central

Can you tell I used to work for Hilton lol

I just tried to get a room for a Hilton in Scotland, but didnt have the dates I wanted. I also searched on 'view by plan' and the same double room that was £108 per night, was only £86.40 for dinner, bed and breakfast ! It's non refundable, but still a good deal !

These deals tend to be non-refundable - we took advantage of a similar offer in November.

Mind you with the pound / euro at parity it is not really worth going to Europe at the moment for a weekend.

Would anyone know what exactly is included with executive lounge access at Hilton hotels. I`ve booked 2 nights in an executive room for the wife`s birthday, happens to be Easter weekend, at £70 a night . Website mentions refreshments , afternoon tea etc. but not too sure what you might have to pay for in lounge.
Thank you.

There is usually nothing to pay for in an executive lounge. One or two around the globe have an 'honor bar', but I doubt you are staying in one of those.

Depending upon which hotel the facilities can vary and the quality of the lounge.

I have stayed in many different Hilton's around the world and am a diamond at the moment.

I would also add that the standard of Hilton's in the UK and can vary from the very good to the 'I wouldn't stay there again even if you paid me!'. I have had first class service and also experienced multiple room changes, springs coming through mattresses, pigeons being allowed to nest outside windows in carefully placed empty beer cartons etc..... (all in the UK)

Personally I would only chose a handful of all the UK Hilton's to stay in again - those in Europe are slighty better (Arc De Triomphe is very good in Paris). Those outside of of Europe tend to be the best

Don't forget Hilton have several brands and this offer should apply to all of them and probably throughout the globe (certainly the November offer was valid globally)

Enjoy your weekend

We stayed in an Exec room last year and the seperate lounge is all free for refreshments. You only pay for alcohol. You can take breakfast in there and its a non hassle chilled area

I'm going to see Keane at the O2 with my other half on Fri 13Feb, so have booked us into the Docklands Hilton for that night - nice short trip to and from the O2, and a little treat to us to kick off Valentines day, for £53. Not bad

Just booked 3 nights at the Hilton in Berlin in April for £106 per night with breakfast. Other sites were quoting over £200 per night so think its a good deal

Smile weblink for hilton sale....

If you go to www.hilton.co.uk/Sale6 it will take you to the sale homepage. Alternatively, you need to enter the promo code P37JAS.

Default thanks!

We have to take a couple of elderly relatives to Strictly Come Dancing Live at NEC in Feb and have just booked three rooms (one extra size!) at the Bromsgrove Hilton for £112 total including continental breakfast, for four of us in total. Even with the cost of a taxi to NEC and back it will be so much easier AND cheaper than a B&B. And with a pool and gym thrown in! Thanks so much for this info
