  • Thanks Martin - smashing link :T Just booked 3 nights at Kensington Hilton in February. Been looking for a nice hotel as we have got tickets for last performance at Hammersmith Apollo of Riverdance. Bus goes from outside the hotel to the Apollo - further saving as we are both over 60 and have free bus travel.
  • Have been looking to stay in London on this January offer... and may have found a way to improve the deal.

Hilton Hotels have a price guarantee on their home page. Lots of terms and conditions, but bascially if you can book exactly the same deal, same room, same dates etc cheaper elsewhere within 24hours of booking with Hilton direct, they will match the price elsewhere and reduce your booking by $50 (or pound equivalent in the UK).

Last night Lastminute.com was beating their price on the 50% deal on several of the London Hiltons by around £1.50 ish. Today, a lot of the exact same deals are no longer on Hilton site. But there are still some out there. I have just booked a Hilton for one night in London, and found the exact same deal on Lastminute.com for £1.05 less. I'm putting in a claim!

So, if you've booked with Hilton, may be worth scouting round for a smaller price elsewhere, however small. Has to be exactly the same as what you've booked.

    Thanks for the link :T

Needed a room in Southampton in March so went through Quidco to get Cashback. Onto Hotelclub where i had 34 pounds credit for joining (thanks to an earlier forum posting), then found a Hilton deal costing 36 pounds. After using the credit, got £1.96 Quidco cashback and the room cost 4p for a night for two of us....absolutely brilliant!!!

    A happy man!

  • I got the London Hilton Metropole for £79.50 per night including breakfast for the w/e of dh's birthday but then they add on a tax of nearly £12 per night  .

Do these discounted rooms also have late checkout till 6 pm?
  • well I never would have thought of booking the Hilton in Prague (Hilton's are normally too expensive/upmarket for us ) but just got a mid-March B&B deal for under £300 for 3 nights !!!
With the £/euro situation as it is, I'm happier to have booked now rather than wait longer and find the local cheap stuff has become expensive

The one at Wembley is great, I stayed there in November for a gig. I wouldnt hang around in the area outside though for any great length of time, a friend of mine was mugged that weekend!
