a quick way to fasten up your pc is to use this software called ccleaner

so, did that sort it? if not, please go into task manager, and post back the processes that are eating up your CPU timeEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Task Manager?
Who?
Where?0 -
ctrl alt del, task manager, then processes, then click the cpu column to sort it into order, list the highest utilisation (ignoring idle process), telling us a bit more about what is happening would help diagnosis, how slow is it, and you are not just talking about access to this site are you?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

how do i get the info to you?0
-
Well, you could PM me, but better to get everyones opinion by posting the top 5 processes with % used, what has changed since it went wrong. If you've installed anti-spyware scanners, can they be disabled or uninstalled temporarily, to aid diagnosis?
What is slow, startup, everything?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
Firstly thanks for your time!!!
How do I get to copy the info from the Task Manager and be able to paste it into the message box?
Sorry but not that "pc knowledgeable"0 -
I installed 'pc doctor' last week and i found that my laptop really struggled if i opened two internet pages, took it off in the end.
It could well be your new spyware/virus programmes doing it.0 -
Thats what I wondered...........conflicts?!?!?!
Will probably delete the newly installed programmes and look for an "all in one" package0
