im going to the US for 20 days and plan to take in a bit of skiing (aka falling on my !!!!). Whats the cheapest insurer for this? So far i've got £45.36 for worldwide insurance but i suspect if i can find one that can specify the US specifically it would be cheaper (than outer mongolia or something)?
Money, Money, Money ..... Banks/Casinos/Bookies give me all you money its a poor mans world....

Just wondering if anyone here knows of, or has come across cheap travel insurance policies which cover travelling to participate in sporting events such as football and volleyball? It would need to be a worldwide one, and if possible an annual policy.
I have looked around but a lot of policies won't cover you if the sport takes up more than a certain amount (ie 20%) of your trip..
So just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

We've just used Complete Ski too, got 7 days snowboarding for £13.94, and that included my 2 kids as they are under 18!!
Davvee - Just revisited Complete Ski and noticed it also has a list of other sports cover, eg. lacrosse, zorbing, and even elephant trekking!!Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. I am looking for the best cover for an annual worldwide multi trip travel insurance which will include scuba diving to a maximum depth of 50 metres (I am qualified to dive to this depth as I a ma diving instructor) I am going to Thailand for 3 weeks holiday in March and will be diving. The best quote I can get is £80...my current insurer has gone into liquidation. Are there any divers here...I have posted this elsewhere on the forum so please excuse me if you read it twice but I am new and was not sure which was the correct threadWombling £457.410

I'd think that £80 is a pretty good price for annual multi-trip. The only people I know who do scuba diving without loading the premium is a company called Fortis Insurance. You could try them, though they only deal through brokers (try a large highstreet one or visit their website for your nearest brokers' phone number).
