When things get too much, I do the 15 minute thing. I like the site, but it can be a bit obsessive. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

Some of it is a bit American and must say I pick and chose what I follow but do love the idea you can do anything for 15 mins and alot of the little sayings are very positive0

I unsubscribed as the multitude of irrelevant emails were driving me crazy! Perhaps if they had some sort of reminder system for people who are only in a couple of evenings a week I may have stuck with it.0

what's a flylady0

See https://www.flylady.com. Would you believe it's American! It's to help people get organised and get on top of their cleaning, tidying up and so on, but at a pace that suits them rather than laying on the guilt thing if you don't get it all done at once.0

I unsubscribed because the emails were doing my head in so I don't bother visiting the site now. TBH all that 'enthusiasm' the americans seem so good at make me want to :silenced: but each to their own. I'm sure lots of you will find it fab. In fact, may take a mosey over there, just to see if there's anything that may help me.....0

Been a fly lady for ages. I think it stops you getting harrassed when house work gets too much for you. I felt it helped me as i'm not so fit now. housework done badly still blesses your family -or so the fly lady says. I like the idea of 15minutes to do one small task as it keeps you focused. She even has you tidying out your jewellery etc now that's the kind of hous :xmassign: ework I like. Then all that breaks for cups of coffee !!!!!0

I'm a flylady of sorts.....I agree that the constant emails and the pats on the bac can be a bit in your face, but she has lots of other things that are very good.

ive been a flybaby for about two years now, and although i dont follow it religiously i do have my routines and my homeblessing hour on a monday and i do the missions. i have found that it has made things a lot easier for me and i seem to do LESS housework than i ever did before. i spamed the emails but keep the testamonial ones and the mission ones. it keeps me on track and decluttering has helped sooo much!November NSD's - 70
