In the policy booklet it just says that if you stop paying after the first 30days you won't get a refund of what you have paid up to that point. So it sounds ok to me.

Yes, if u decide that you no longer wish to have life insurance cover you can cease the premiums, policy merely becomes defunct.;)

After 30 days premiums already made wont be refunded.

Ive already submitted the application and returned the policy signature forms, unlike the PO Insurance offer the Insurance policy on this one doesnt come into force until signed forms that M+S Insurance send out after the online application has been made have been returned back by post to HSBC who are the insurer.

Do you think we can sign up to this if we have already tried the PO one? I presume two life insurance policies aren't allowed.

I was one of those who was caught up in the Post Office debarcle, I dont know if it went through, no policy number or email etc. and havent heard anything since - despite attempts to request callbacks.

James I'm sure you can have more than 1 policy active, one of the questions asks if you have more than £350000 worth of cover so presuming you do not insure for that much you should be fine.

You can have as many as you like, subject to some restrictions on total value.

I knew this one would hit the board sooner or later....

The difference between this one and the Post Office one is that this offer is TOTALLY relient on the cashback site paying out. If they don't pay out, and retailers can stop the cashback for any reason, you are out of pocket.

Think twice before taking the risk.
