I'm surprised you didn't find the answer, as it has been asked many times, and indeed,it was one of my very first questions when I joined!
The answer is yes, you can, in fact, it's easier as they can't threaten you with account closure.
And no limit to how many you can claim from, except your own organisational capacity... I found that too many claims at once and you lose track as to what stage you're at with whom, especially if you have Data Protection requests going as well.0 -
I phoned my bank and requested my charges back, were'nt that much any how, but still principle is principle, with in 2 min, i was told in 4 working days i'll have my money put into account.
Hip hip horray!!

Reverend_Darkman wrote:Hmmm has something recently changed on CAG website? at the bottom of the Preliminary approach for repaymnet letter it now says not to forget your schedule - I didn't do this with the first letter.
I take it the schedule in question is based on that spreadsheet but WITHOUT the interest?
Also is it really worth NOT putting in the paragraph notifying OFT with the second letter?
The reason for the change is that we have banks now trying more diversionary tactics by claiming they were never given a proper schedule of the charges reclaimed and how the interest had been worked out... Total BS, and so far, it hasn't worked at all, but it was felt it might be wise to revise the letters to cover this.
Yes, the schedule is basically what the charges are, when levied and what type they were (unauthorised o/d, unpaid d/d, you get the idea).
The templates have gone through many incarnations since the site started, we adapt and improve as we go along.
The OFT paragraph... Well, that's anyone's choice, so far, it has not proved terribly efficient...ok, not at all... mainly because the OFT have totally blanked this blatant attempt to stop us from asserting our legal rights, which I think is a real shame.0 -

I can't get on CAG either. Does anyone think that now the action against banks is now a widespread known issue due to the ITV show, that the banks will either take much longer with the refunds or, very unlikely, end up not having to pay at all?0
-
Well some of them are taking a while anyway. The simple fact is that these charges are unlawful and I rather hope that this programme will result in an exponential growth in claims to compel the banks to actually comply with the law of the land. If the Government won't act to deal with this, it's going to have to come down to people power!0

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that most of the nation will know about this now, but I'm worried that those of us that are still in the process might be hit hard by this due to the bank taking a much tougher stance on it from now on.0

So far they have not took it into court and if the charges are unlawfull how can they , and they know it.They can try but so far the defences they have tried to fob people off with are **** .
There are 22,000 users just in cag alone , most, reclaiming there charges , so far not one defended in court.Wish I could stop editing EVERY post I make :mad:0
