Has anyone successfully managed to cancel this. I paid by credit card $1.95 or so I thought....but now.

Also took out extreme white too,
as I am embarrassed to say I was sucked in to a use both products for best effect scam.
  • Can I say that I have good news, well for now, YES.

After sending a very damaging email to their office in the UK and my Credit card company (I also returned all goods, unused in a very short time space after the payments) they repleid back by email that they refund the money.

Now I need to see if indeed in the next 2 weeks they do so.

I do have to say that I also called their office in the States last week to cancel my so called membership.

I also received 2 other phone numbers (for the UK) to cancel the 2 other small health subscriptions.

Let say that if you react "firmly" in a very short time space and with some patience they seems to reimburse the money.

Well I have to wait now if indeed everything goes as planned as they say.
Will keep you posted of the further development.

Thanks Marc644. I dont believe that I signed/ticked any terms and conditions either as per your earlier post. I have twice requested they send the terms and conditions they claim I agreed to, but they have not done so. I did not get a receipt sent to my email but do have a cancellation number from the instant chats. I definately did not tick the other "free" offers....was it slimming or something? But worry that they may try and go ahead on that anyway.

If I cancel my credit card ( MBNA) can they still access my money? That may sound a stupid question but we once got a visa bill from a hotel where my husband had stayed on business 18 months after the card was given. We had not noticed the transaction was missing but even though the card number was different the account was still liable.

As yet I have received no goods, and where did you send them back to anyway? How do you obtain the address and how do you get something signed for that you post to the US?
  • Hi Wortle,

DazzleWhite has an office in the UK. When you received your goods their is a delivery note included from the company BTB Mailflight Ltd. They are representing them in the UK. I send a first class recorded/signed package (letter and unused goods) to them and I called the number in the US to cancel.

One of the reasons I found that caused them to breach the terms of conditions is that they took off the money to soon from my account. I remember something when I read afterwards these Terms that they should take of a certain amount of money after 3 weeks of the trial period. They actually broke that Term and therefore themself breached the contract.

The ConsumerRight group in the UK did informed me that even if their website is down they should still send you the Terms and conditions.
Unfortunately the credit card company is a problem. It appears that even if you cancel your card that due to the nature of the agreement they still would be able to take out the money until you confirmed that it has been cancelled.
I am in the process with the FSA and ConsumerRight to fight the incompetence of Creditcard companies to protect their customers even after you gave them prove of been scammed they are still not willing to take any action.
Then they provide you with numbers that do not exist.

Those 2 other small health services have both 2 different numbers provided by DazzleWhite,
    Vhealth, 08081202348
Access, 08000470192 (seems to be wrong)

    Hope that will help.
    Marc
  • Hi everyone. Like you have mentioned above I have been scammed by Dazzle White. I contacted them and had it cancelled, including Insider secrets, and Comprehensive weight loss.

A month on I have discovered another payment taken by a company called MyDietId.com. This is the same company. What I find alarming is that although I was told at the time all my subscriptions had been cancelled, clearly they were not. I will call this company today to confirm cancellation but I was wondering if anyone else had come across this one yet, apologies if previously mentioned. As I dont have a copy of the T's and C's I dont know what other companies may have my details and I may not find out until they have charged me and it is too late as in this case.

If anyone has any experience of this I would like to know if this is close to an end. Thanks
  • I too fell for this scam and felt a right idiot for doing so! I have made several persistant phone calls to ask if they can stop the shipment of the trial product. They said this is impossible but if I return it within 21 days to an address in Bedford they will not take any further money from my credit card. I was told this morning that the product was shipped from the States and could take two weeks. This afternoon I was told it was posted from Bedford so I asked why I was paying international shipping. I spoke to Fabian who agreed and said he would refund 10 dollars to my card. We shall see! Many thanks to Durutti.:T
  •:mad:I can't believe that I have done this as well as 'extreme white'. There are a few of you that say you are calling the company, can any one let me know the numbers.
I have cancelled my credit card today as there were some dodgy transactions on there, now I am thinking it's all related reading the posts. I have just tried calling a number that marc has posted got a support desk in the UK (nothing to do with Dazzle White), so haven't got anywhere.

I have got a return address in Bedford if this helps anyone else?

0-808-120-1987. They are available 6 AM - 9 PM (MST), Weekdays only.

That is actually a UK freephone forwarded to the US I think.

MST is shown compared to GMT here

I was polite and firm and said I would be contacting the BBB and office of fair trading if all money debited was not returned within 14 days and what references should I give to them and could I have the operatives FULL name as a contact for those organisations. They seem to talk from a script but the money was returned to my account within a week.

I believe I have been returned my money, so am only out of pocket the recorded delivery from this company.
  • Yes I am one of them fools, please help me to get out of it, I have tried ringing the number to cancel but they are constantly closed at whatever time I ring, can somebody please step by step tell me what to do before I get really fleeced. Thank you

Del, did you read my post above. I was surprised that it hasnt been showing all morning.

Would suggest you put a marker down thru instant chat and ask for a cancellation number and save the chat with both a copy and paste and an email save to your email.

Knowing what I now know I would also cancel the card you used and put a marker down with your card isuuer that you have cancelled and give them the number.

Then phone the number given above having converted the times on the link. You have to ring for ages to get thru so dont put the phone down just make a cup of tea and sit down and wait to get thru...I think I rang about 4pm ish.
