Just checked my one again, aparently it has been dispatched from KOELN (COLOGNE), DE, it arrived there at noon (where ever that is) today, now it has been dispatched to MOI!
fingers crossed ... and I may get my one before Kilty:j no big deal though (almost), I expect that if the new offer is good, I'll be going through the cancellation thingy to get a better deal I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -

Just checked their website, and the same spec laptop is now £399 instead of £339 - result!
I ordered mine through the Employee Purchase Scheme, so with the extended battery it cost £326. Someone did phone and asked me for information about EPP in a thick Indian accent. When I asked what EPP was he said "ok, it is nothing". The invoice is still £326, so he obviously couldnt be bothered to explain!0 -
Mine says delivery date 24/4/06 so far.0

Can I join the delivery race!
Ordered Friday evening, dispatched yesterday, just checked UPS and it has been from Limerick to Cologne to East Midlands Airport overnight then up to Dewsbury and out for delivery this morning.
Doorbell doen't work and bet wife doesn't hear them knocking!!0 -
Arrrgggghhh!! sodding UPS!!! I got a knock on the door, just about heard it, got up to get to the door, took me all of 10 seconds and then heard something come through the letter box and it was a delivery attempt notice ... opened the door and shouted LOL and not a sausage
You'd think they'd hang around long enough for me to open the bloody door ... like maybe 20 seconds or is that asking too much! Called UPS right away and told them to tell driver to come back ... the answer was "sorry, no, we can't do that" got a little pee'd off and told him to advise his drivers not to just knock the door and post the paper through, but to actually do whats normal and WAIT a little for the person to answer the door .... arrrggghh UPS!
Gonna find out where their depot is and then call back to go collect it ... don't want to wait till tuesday!I can say whatever I like here ... Found depot, called UPS (this guy was lovely and very helpful!) he said I didn't have to wait till Tuesday, that I could collect it tonight or on Saturday! All I need to do is get Dell to send a release form to them via email. Contacted Dell, finally got it sorted (they will call me by 3 to let me know if UPS had confirmed receipt and then bingo ... I can go collect it between 6-7 tonight!
Now, all I have to do it get O/H to come home a little earlier, find out exactly where the depot is and I should be posting from my new lappy by 8 ... ok ok maybe 9!
