I've managed to hook up a highly sensitive seismograph to my front door - I'll be able to hear if someone sneezes in Japan.

Of course it would actually help if I ordered the laptop.

    Indecision, indecision.
  • Mine was dispached on 11/4 and now the status is showing as Delivered but I still have not got it yet !!!!!!

I live in N.Ireland and the courier was Interlink.

Should I contact dell or the courier or wait another while?

Has anyone noticed that the laptop offer is still active??? (unlike the desktop offers)

I'm still thinking of getting one. Can anyone give me feedback on the screen quality please?

    Delivered at 11:34 today :D:D:D

The screen is very good IMO, a little dim on battery but useable (you can put it to highest setting when on battery but life will be reduced).

Good build quality, much better than the cheap Acers I was looking at, only problem I have with it is all the software that Dell put on it.

A Question for anyone thst has received their laptop

Is the wireless card card internal or is it one that sticks out of the side of the computer?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

Wireless is internal, miniPCI card which is fitted to the system.

Works well too *whistles at the people in his street with unsecured routers*

Now did you know ...... that there apparently a way to take all the rubbish off a Dell computer when it arrives (I haven't tried it myself however):

Of course you can always re-install XP if you have the backup disc. That will work too but could remove some of the installed drivers so be careful.
