  • rainbow parcels looked promising, until i read that "Collection will be made at anytime between 0800-1800", i am only here between 10am and 5:30pm so that could cause all sorts of problems.

RAINBOW PARCELS ARE PART OF THE PARCELTREE GROUP...
  • [FONT=&quot]ArmitageShanks, no one should have to worry about how many times they mention a particular website, if it's relevant & helpful then let it be. The original article is outdated so it's important for this thread to have recommendations based on recent personal experience. I've used www.parcelcheap.com & have been impressed so i'm entitled to recommend them as it will save others time & money.

I prefer parcelforce because i've found the reliability & service good. It's important to know the standard insurance for DHL is £50 while parcelforce offer £150. Parcelforce also guarantee the deliveries as standard unlike DHL. This tells it's own story, parcelforce are a lot more confident in their service than DHL. It makes you think DHL must lose or damage a lot of parcels otherwise surely they would offer better insurance. DHL have taken on a lot of extra business in the last few years thanks to the cheap booking websites, this has inevitably had a negative effect on the quality of their service. That's probably why DHL are increasing prices now so they can cope better during the christmas period. If you use DHL don’t be surprised if you get failed collections or your parcel doesn’t arrive on time. Why do you think Ebay decided to team up with Parcelforce instead of DHL.

The best experience I had booking DHL was using www.interparcel.com . Prices are a bit more expensive but reliability was better than the rest. www.ppwexpress.com were amazingly cheap when they first started but the reliability was poor & in the end so was the service. www.parcel2go.com should be the best because they have the most experience however I think they offer too many different services & products making it a bit time consuming & confusing + the prices aren't that cheap.

    Armitage,
I think it might be worth adding parcelcheap.com
Just used them today. Booked at around 11.00, courier turns up after two hours.
Plus it's Parcelforce. They emailed me parcelforce tracking numbers straight away, booking system is user friendly and easy.
Just checked their website and it's down, don't know why. Hope it will be up and running soon as I want to use them again.

    hey guys,

been following quite closely, well i used interparcel yesterday 1 parcel today,

dhl man showed up no problem today, no printing labels etc, but was abit steep around £8.30,

im interested in Rainbow Parcels to see how they are, has anyone else tried them? do they email you and save you consignments like ppw did? and any other probs?

Also wanted to try parcelcheap.com but website is down, same questions here, what are their prices? easy booking form? collection problems? and do they email you and save your previous consignments?

want to pay with paypal and not have to print any labels,

    thanks
No reliance should be placed on the above.
