im seriously considering the parcelcheap option,
just wanted to know how parcelforce pick up, do they make you sign forms etc like dhl or is it a longer process as we do not usually have time for this and usually just leave the parcels out for the dhl man to collect
are directparceldelivery any good aswell??

parcelforce require labels that have to be printed. Stick them to the parcel, and print another copy for the driver to sign.
Direct Parcel Distribution don't require you to print labels.0 -
FAO of Jake and others: I will re-do the guide in a week or so once we know how everythings panned out with prices and companies. As for parcelsheep, how long do parcelforce resellers hang around selling at the price?0

looking more towards DIRECTPARCELDELIVERY,

Just google'd ppwexpress and who has got them as an add word- parcel2go. The moment ppw started having problems who came out with a half price offer and also veiled them selves fairly successfully and posted on here- parcel2go. I don't like them but their marketing department is on the ball.0

I have some bad news for you all.. about the ppwexpress one of my friends who uses ppw had a claim with DHL but as most people know that when you have a claim it has to be the person that is the contract owner of the account. To cut a long story short he has been emailing ppw for the last few days and got no update with the claim and contacted dhl today.
He found of that the claim was being processed but the claim would not be settled until the accounts of ppw was paid. The DHL guy said that they owe thousands of unpaid collections and deliverys for the last 3 months and that he cant get his £100 back because if would only goto the account holder.
So anyone that thinks about using parceltree i would aviod as it seems they move from company to company and leave a mega debt behind. (parceltree didnt pay TNT and loads of parcels got stuck and some people never got them back! lucky that dhl does not do that but AVIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ArmitageShanks, You seem to like ppw and the parceltree and you seem to spam about them all the time. ANY thing that comes out of your mouth i would take lightly. Some of the questions I would ask is that how do you find this out? falls onto you?... i wonder.. i dont think anyone trusts you.
I will say that parcelcheap.com is the best for parcelforce a £7.50 would be £15 with parcelforce direct. You dont need to print a label the parcel man brings that with him.. I sent 20 parcels via parcelcheap and not has a issue at all. and just so you know i dont own parcelcheap i just love the service they offer.0 -

As far as I'm concerned PPW are gone. Parceltree aren't a reputable outfit, they're a disaster waiting to happen. Look at that thread I posted at the top of the page; oxymoron...."oh right I get it now".0
