They have 'merged' with parceltree. Website will be back up tomorrow evening. PPPs will still be there, if not will be refunded. Prices will be the same, or at worst a 50p increase. Headed up by yep you guessed it Wasif Shafi, and also Ali Eftekhar Khonsari. Paul Harrison no longer has anything to do with them.

hey guys,

been following quite closely, well i used interparcel yesterday 1 parcel today,

dhl man showed up no problem today, no printing labels etc, but was abit steep around £8.30,

im interested in Rainbow Parcels to see how they are, has anyone else tried them? do they email you and save you consignments like ppw did? and any other probs?

Also wanted to try parcelcheap.com but website is down, same questions here, what are their prices? easy booking form? collection problems? and do they email you and save your previous consignments?

want to pay with paypal and not have to print any labels,

thanks

rainbow parcels are rubbish from what i know.

Apparently Rainbow Parcels are parceltree (aka Shafi) so I really would suggest not using them (needs verifying though). There is a whole thread dedicated to shafi and his companies somewhere.

PPW where great, who to use now??? I need a firm who dont need a waybill etc

any ideas?? interparcel
I'm not sure and the label front, but in this current climate of chaos I would say try freightsearch. Email them first though. Prices are good £5.99+vat.
• why not try www.directparceldelivery.com
you dont need to print labels
• DPD's name change info...

They changed their name didn't they? I was walking through town a week ago and found a probable reason why. Parked right in front of me was a big van with DPD and a parcel logo on. I thinks to myself "blimey, either DPD have made a lot more than you'd think off this board spamming, or...."

http://www.dpd.co.uk/

Seems a pretty good reason to change a name :j
• To be fair to Direct Parcel Distribution they are still going after all that has been said. Also a lot of the spamming which I accused them of appears not to be them, and apart from anything they're not a Shafi enterprize.
