yeah, I do realise that I might not have much luck so soon, but I want to at least try! I think it all depends on how bub is laying, how your uterus is naturally positioned, etcetc. I don't even have my first NHS scan date yet, so I wanted something to play with to pass the time!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Ok here goes, sorry if you dont like them and its old recipe so old measurements that ive never changed
1lb Flour
4 oz Marg I use butter
4 oz Lard Still use butter, eww lard
4 oz Currants
6 oz Sugar
1/2 tsp mxd spice
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
salt
2 tbs milk
Flour, baking powder and salt sifted into a bowl. Rub in butter then add currants and mxd spice. Beat egg and milk then mix together - to a firm paste.
Upto you how thick you roll them but I use a traditional griddle so it may cook diff than a pan and I gauge the cooking time by colour but prob 3 mins a side??
I love having them warm with butter but shop bought is always sugared and of course cold.
I haven't made them in this house so over 2 years and of course all our shops sell them so less of a reason to make your own!!:j

Cool so should be able to have my sweep downstairs on the sofa/pouffe thingy
they're leather so if it leaks through the towels or anything then they are easy to wipe clean hehehe
Everything feels so bruised now because she keeps insisting on moving round but there just isn't room!
Got some more bedding for the moses basket although mothercare's selection is terrible! I have to say now I've finally used my gift card I'll probably never set foot there again!
Skinty - BP - mine has been pretty low through (which is why I was nearly passing out in Tescos and Costcos a few times) and my last BP measurement was higher than yours on both numbers so I really wouldn't worry about it - it sneaks up as the pregnancy progresses apparently
As for the size of bubs - if he was REALLY concerned he probably wouldn't have told you to wait till your next MW appointment to be honest. Asking for her oppinion is probably just because she prods a lot more pregnant ladies than he does and 3 weeks is not that long to wait really...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
