Also will we get offers on Beatles love out there or should we book the current buy one get one for £25 offer before we go?

sorry if this has already been asked or answered too many pages to read through properly.

    Missed this bit.

I would take the BOGO for $25 as it's a very good offer. However I would call the Mirage to book rather than doing it online. When I looked online the other day it was only offering me seats really near the front. To get the best view you really need the cheapest seats.

Don't leave Love tickets. Get them now. Especially with the above offer.

    When are you off Luci?

Oh definately. Life would be boring if we all liked the same thing. All Cirque shows are different - some you will love, some you will hate.

As for Donny - i can't see how anyone could want to see him lol

Well I guess with a four year contract and sold out weekdays and weekends there's a lot of people who don't agree with you. :)
For me that's part of the joy of Vegas-you get to see shows you wouldn't usually go to in say London-and sometimes are surprised.
TBH if you don't like high energy shows with lots of music and dancing then the Donny and Marie show wouldn't suit you. It's old school Vegas in a lot of ways-doesn't rely on special effects or spectacular sets but still sells out. The reviews are consistently good-something you don't see much in Vegas ,
For me Cirque is a bit smoke and mirrors and posturing and I don't see the appeal-but as you say we're all different :)

Depends on what you like really. If you like the beatles then Love is a no brainer. I'm not a massive fan but really loved the show still as it's very modern production and the songs have been jazzed up a bit.
Our first Cirque show was 'O' and we were blown away with the shear scale of the production. Like nothing you will see in the UK. Really enjoyed it and glad we saw that as our first cirque show.

Plenty of reviews and opinions on the shows at yelp.com have a look on there.

There aren't any really sheer drops on either Red Rock Canyon or Valley of Fire.

Driving to Red Rock and VOF is a doddle. Red Rock is only down the road from vegas, VOF is a little freeway driving and then you turn off into the middle of nowhere where you can literally drive for ages without seing another car.

Recommend visiting both. Choose Red Rock 1st and then VOF.

Thanks guys, that should reassure her a bit. So I take it you're driving through the mountains rather then over them. What's the driving terrain like for VOF do you need quite a big hire car for it?

    Thanks again.

It's very straight forward for both places. It is a tarmac road around where you're allowed to drive. there are stopping off places all over the parks and you can park up and go for a walk to some of the different areas. The first time we did RRC we had a people carrier and there was plenty of space on the roads for it. I'll have a look for some photos.
