Im off to vegas in Oct and i have got a question about Tix4Tonight.

Is it alot cheaper to order tickets from say smartervegas using discount codes or are Tix4Tonight around the same price?

I dont really want to tie my self down to defo evenings unless there is a big difference in price. Interested in seeing Blue Man Group, Mystère @ TI and some sort of magic show, not sure which one yet (any tips? :))

The offers around at the moment are probably better than T4T or at least the same.

If there are shows you really want to see I would recommend getting them now if there is a deal on. T4T can be a pain at times with long queues that move slowly so you could waste a lot of time queuing.

Remember T4T add a service fee which I think is $6 per ticket, but there is a $2 off coupon on their website.

I thought LOve was terrible. I am a huge Cirque fan and an even bigger beatles fan and was looking forward to this show for ages. Unfortunately it just didn't deliver for me. No real Wow moments in the show. Also went to see Mystere and O in the same week and these 2 shows absolutely blew me away.

Just shows how we're all different. Mystere was the first Cirque show we saw and it did nothing for me. O was good, but I wouldn't rush back to see it again. I really enjoyed Love, probably because I knew all the songs.

    TBH, I don't think Cirque's my thing.

It's funny how different people react differently...we had seen both O and Love before - both loved O, hubby loved Love...then we took the in-laws and they wanted to see Mystere, we bullied them into seeing Love as well as my husband was sure they would adore Love. Saw Love first - they were absolutely in awe. Saw Mystere a few nights later and they were a bit 'well, it was good, but it wasn't Love'. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

thanks Luci for mentioning you had killers tickets, had no idea they were there. Did a search and they are playing while we are there!

Just booked tickets :) were cheaper than when i saw them in hyde park!!! even persuaded OH to go and he never goes to gigs! super excited now. going in 4 weeks time.

would like to see more shows (if i can convince OH!) am thinking about Beatles love as heard good things and quite like the Beatles, plus we are staying in the mirage so its super covinient. Would like to see a rat pack type show any reccomendations?

Also will we get offers on Beatles love out there or should we book the current buy one get one for £25 offer before we go?

sorry if this has already been asked or answered too many pages to read through properly.

    Hey guys,

Think my last question got lost in a rush of posts!

2 of us are looking to go to Las Vegas in June next year. What would be the best way about booking this?

Is it usually cheaper to get the hotel and flights separately, or would it be advisable to go to a travel agents? Paying a deposit to pay the rest off later would be a very large bonus!

Not looking for 5* accommodation or travel either!

    Thanks.

any Flights found that = £300 -£400 each and you are happy with should be booked up ASAP IMO . they only tend to get more expensive . after that , book a fall back hotel that can be cancelled without penalty from the links in post 1 . after that check Fatwallet thread for hotel deals once or twice a week until 12 weeks out then as often as you can .

remember you only usually need to pay for your 1st nights accommodation up front when you book direct with the hotel . you pay the rest on check out . so all you need to pay up front is your flights and night one of your stay .

booking things seperate usually works out cheaper , and will have a lot more flexiablity . however you can never say never . some people have found packages that are competitive , and the pound may nose dive against the $ between now and when you go . i personally would not do anything but a DIY trip to Vegas .

book car hire sooner rather than later . you cannot do much better than https://www.carhire3000.com
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

While not exactly Las Vegas, were going to Death Valley in November on our Last Vegas trip. Was planning on going to death valley for a while however have now decided to stay the night in furnace creek. While not exactly money saving it sure looks nice! Left it a bit late so didn't have a pick from lots of rooms but got a nice room still.

    Has anyone been before?

    Simon

Oh definately. Life would be boring if we all liked the same thing. Love is a good show but its doesn't really have any wow moments like the others, instead its more of a dance / high energy show. After reading all of the reviews (99% of which were from people who love the show) and being told how amazing it was, and being a massive massive fan of the music i think i built up my expectation to be to high and was left feeling let down.

All Cirque shows are different - some you will love, some you will hate.

As for Donny - i can't see how anyone could want to see him lol

Glad to help. I don't really like going to gigs, even for bands I really like, but made an exception for the Killers in VEGAS! I'm a little apprehensive, but I am looking forward to it.

There is The Rat Pack is Back playing at the Plaza downtown and you should get tickets at Tix4Tonight.

I was a huge Donny fan when I was a teenager so couldn't miss the opportunity to see him in Vegas. OH couldn't have cared less.

I really enjoyed the show, but OH thought it was fantastic and the best show we saw last time and we saw 6 or 7 including O. He spoke about it for days afterwards.

I've never seen a bad review for the show.
