Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
    Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !
  • Hi, i got all my money refunded, so i went to mothercare and out the money down on a silvercross 3d pram jet sport.

The seller asked for my email address and transaction number even though paypal already put the refund through....is there any reason why?

Also i can now leave feedback, what should i write???? Any idea's ????

Well as no one is certain it is a scam you can't write anything along those lines , I would just put something like , asked to cancel order , refunded quickly , and leave it at that .

  • For all of those who wanted the Pliko Geo from ''suspect' dicount buggies - just to let you know there is one on ebay now for £105 + £12 postage. It has only been used a couple of times so says Like new.

I bought one last week from a genuine seller on ebay after being suspicious of discount buggies and am so pleased with it.

At least you can get what you wanted the item number is 200259471477

    Hope this helps someone.

For anyone considering this itme please be aware that it will be pulled quite quickly due to the 'no echeques' statement which ebay do not like. There is no photo which will put a lot of people off, the seller has very bad despatch time stars and is not correctly registered, the seller sells second hand prams (car boot sale ones?) and isn't declaring themselves as a business.

I would proceed with extreme caution with this.

  • Looking at his other buggies he has sold in the past they seem to be in too good nick to be boot sale ones . Many people , myself included , buy buggies use them once or twice and then sell them on , there is always a new buggy on the market that us pramaholics have got to have . I have in the past sold 16 buggies that I have bought just to see what they were like and then sold again within a couple of weeks .

Why don't Ebay like the no echeques statement ? I personally hate getting an echeque , its a pain in the backside waiting for it to clear etc .

If it were me, i'd wait to see if anyone get's their prams delivered on the 8th, which is when I think all will become apparant. Then you will have a better idea of it it was a scam or not. Then you can chosse what feedback you'd like to leave!? Just a thought.
  • I often put no echeques when I am selling on ebay - they take far too long to clear and I have never had a problem with ebay listing policy.

I - a pramaholic - have had tons of prams, used them very little and sold them on. Thats what Ebay is all about.

Sometimes there are genuine bargains to be had - the Pliko I bought last week was listed as being used for a few weeks and it looks almost new - came with ALL matching accessories and cost £100! Bargain:rotfl:

The community boards are full of people asking why all their listings have been removed and their seller dashboard showing a policy breach when other people state 'no echeques' as well. However under the new rules it is really best not to push ebay, they will always pull auctions and ask questions later..and it isn't worth it.

Also as buyers don't know they are sending an echeque what exactly will you do if you get one? Refuse to sell and get a neg and a non performing seller complaint  Ebay isn't easy any more, don't make it harder for yourself.
