    Hi Aylesburygirl,

    Congrats.

    I think no matter what age you are you always feel the how on earth am i gonna tell my parents bit.......... I still get that now!! Not that she'd tell me off, she was overjoyed in fact but I think its the little girl bit inside of me.you know?


    I too am not married and I dont think that matters nowadays. As long as you love each other what does it matter. You've created a life together and thats special! :beer:

    For this one I just said "I've got a present for you" and waved a scan pic in their face :D
    for my sister tho my scan was just before her b-day and I'd got her the alan carr book that has a hole in the cover so I put a pic in it so instead of his face in the hole it was a baby :T she liked it

    first time round I told my mum in a mumble and then tried to run away (from her not home :p) she told my dad for me and OH told his mum and dad when they were in bed :confused: his mum didn't talk ti either of us for 3 days! :eek:

    I told my mum by sending a text to say 'Dear Grandma, can't wait to meet you in June, lots of hugs and sticky kisses, your grandchild'.

    She was shocked as she thought it was too soon for us to have a baby but she is now absolutely over the moon and an absolute rock for me.

    Thank-you, im sure they will be pleased just feel nervous about how to bring it up!!

    Found some chocolate but now thinking about whether to drive past McDonalds on the way home!!!hmmmm big mac!!

    when did everyone start showing, at the moment i just feel fat, & bloated but most of my trousers and uncomfy, really didnt want to have to by bigger clothes already!!

    Oooh weather is yucky outside now heavily raining and all dark outside.....oh well i am off on holiday in two weeks cant wait!!!

    Where did you have your 20wk scan Mooki? I thought you were near to Watford (from your Asda post the other day) and thought they don't tell you there. Did you have a private one?

    Just being nosey because they wouldn't tell us what we were having and considering whether to have a private scan or not...
