Luc - was wondering about you the other day, what a carppy time to be made redundant, hugs to you.

Actually, assuming I get a new job by 1 September, which is when I was planning ot finish mat leave, I am about 3.5k better off because they have to pay me 3 months full salary rather than 6 weeks full and 6 weeks SMP because I there was no notice period and they have to compensate for the holidays I would have accrued whilst on mat leave (i.e. up to 31 August) rather than just to 30 April which would have been notice period. ..

PM'd you AM - she's only got a couple of blue items on at the moment. But i searched for 'matinee' or 'hand knitted' and quite a few sellers came up - lots seem to be 'nanas who knit!'.

I upset my mum telling her i'd bought some cardi's from a 'proper nana' on ebay! She's not old enough to be a proper nana, she's ONLY 57 and working full time. :rotfl:

TOASTED SANDWICHES - Has anyone else tried the toaster bags? I got some bogoff from Poundstretcher, and they're like a little bread sized carrier bag, and you put your sandwich in, and pop it in the toaster. I don't know how it works, but it does! You can use each bag up to 50 times, and not as greasy as the old breville style sandwich toaster. Had a period of needing cheese and onion toasties a while ago - but my heartburn won in the end!!

I'm trying to be active to get this baby moving - i walked the school run this morning, then had a brisk walk up to the local shops. The lady in the health food shop recommended Clary Sage oil, so I got some of that, and some more RLTea.

Off for a Clary Sage bath now - not sure if it will do anything, but it stinks  . She also recommended squirting a pierced Oil of Evening Primrose capsule internally (iykwim  ) - not heard that one before!!

suzy this is my first baby (and possibly last too!)

3onitsway I hadn't heard about the evening primrose oil. Can you tell me moew???? may have to send hubby an email requesting he get some :D

I've been using clary sage oil in my bath - It's actually an alright smell IMO, but it's meant to bring on contractions and it's not done anything for me at all!

They discuss induction that much before the due date? Scary that'll only be 4 months away. I can't believe how quick this pregnany lark flies by.

ooh if ur june app is before your due date then I don't know if it is for that or not :D
round here we go to a clinic called "TLC" you go there for 12wk and 20 wk scans and then book app for after due date to discuss induction I assumed that's what yours is too although it may be that in your area they discuss the induction just before your due

oh and 4 boys some possibly ending up with 5  you're mad! LOL
OH's uncle has 4 girls inc one set of non-identical twins and they are a handful to say the least - although their mother is certifiable IMHO and not in the funny way!

I would like 4 kids but I said if we had all our "own" then I'd stop at 3 if they were all the same sex, but now we're planning 2 of "ours" and then some foster kids we'll prob get a mix of allsorts :A and if we can't / decide not to foster I'm hoping to adopt :D (do you think that'll earn me my spot in heaven?):rotfl:

My Mum was 36 when my sister got pregnant the first time... 41 when my neice was born... and just gone 45 when I had Aimee...

Tia, some women find slings helpful to feed, some don't.... It's a case of finding what works for you... If you found you got a lot of back ache previously it could of been because you were slouched forwards bringing your breast to the baby rather than the other way round... Maybe this time you could look at feeding in different positions... Lying down on the bed or reclining back in a chair with baby lying down your tummy... Rather than the very prescriptive traditional positions...

And here's Aimee in the snow today...

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
