It does not appear to be an official agency, and is one of a group of agencies all operated by 'Durban Vienna' (they also operate 'offthewalltickets').
I haven't used them personally, and I can't find any reviews of sft (though some not too positive experiences of offthewall). However, this could be because the website is relatively new (the company seems to set up new web addresses according to different events).
It might be a case of wait and see on this one, hopefully they will turn up with no problems. If the worst happens, you will be covered by paying with your credit card xGone ... or have I?0 -
Hi there, my friend has also used this site to purchase 4 tickets and when he actually/eventually got through to one of their highly trained operatives it was a scouse man who couldnt get off the phone quick enough. And there was no introduction " hello summerfestivaltickets" etc. He has had a email multicard.com. Now he is slightly worried. Anyone else had any experience with this company???0

Hi again. Just a quick message CANCEL YOUR CARD!!!!! I cannot be 100% sure but im 99% sure that this company is fraudulant! Check your statement and see when the tickets were purchased then how much has come out of your account or credit card(ring up credit card/bank). My friend was deducted 7.50 and 15.00. This to me says that hopefuly you wont really notice these smaller charges and when you dont do anything about it they scam you for alot more dosh. Dont forget they have your long number and your 3digit card number so they could do anything!!! My friend is joining tonight and will give you his full story as it is a little complexed.0

My girlfriend purchased 4 V festival tickets Chelmsford on friday 7/3/08 with my debit card I was debited with the full £670.00 in one hit! the conformation email i received stated that I had purchased 4 V tickets for Staffordshire. Called the SFT "hotline" on Monday 10/3/08 spoke to a guy (who anwsered with "hello") and explained that the tickets were for the wrong venue he asked for my order number and said he woud change them over.I asked for a conformation email which he said he would do. no email as yet. I have also email asking for conformation--- no reply! I have cancelled my card nothing else has been debited to my knowledge. any ideas on how to go about getting my money back0

Me and my girlfriend bought 2 V2008 tickets for Chelmsford on Saturday from them. No email confirmation came through so I rang them on Monday and they said they'd been busy and that they'd send the confirmation email. This came through soon after and the credit card was charged with the £340.
After reading these reports we decided to try and get a refund. We've rang them and then sent an email to confim this in writing. Will keep you informed to how we get on.
Also changed the credit card details over so this card can't be used again.0 -
The Summer Festivals web site looks a bit suss.
From the V Festival website
Please note that the V Festival only supplies tickets to the ticket agents listed on the 'book tickets' page. You are advised not to book tickets from any unauthorised outlet, auction website or ticket tout. If you do so you risk the ticket being a forgery or losing your money. V Festival will not be able to help you if any of the above occures.
A look at the 'book tickets' page doen't give a link for Summer Festivals as a seller.
Gentle Giant - You can't change the site once your booked. If you get tickets, you'll have to look to exchange them with someone else whose got Chelm tickets and wants Staff tickets.0 -
Have reported this site to the security of my cc company and summerfest. Will report when I hear something from either of them. I do think Virgin themselves are somewhat culpable in this though as the site selling tickets was advertised on the first page of their own virgin media webpage.
Stardust, how do you know that the tickets can't be changed before they are received. Have you used these people before?0
