    I have managed to find Mr Martin Lewis and have sent him a PM to ask for his professional and honest opinion regarding this issue.

    I have just had a call from consumer direct regarding my complaint.

    The lady I spoke to said after having looked at B&Q 's T&Cs she feels that the "We reserve the right not to supply" term may represent an unfair term of contract. She advised me that there may be a case of 'loss of bargain' to pursue through the small claims court.

    She is passing my details on to my local Trading Standards who are going to get back to me within a week to advise me further.

    Actually I tried to buy them but they told me it was an obvious misprice and that they could not let me have them but as a goodwill gesture they would take off 10% of 8.50 so could have them at 16.72!;)
