These are all fantastic, as a family we decided to not do xmas presents this year but so spread the cost across our birthdays instead. So these would be great for a little token gift instead.
Does anyone know how I can save them so that I can find them when I need them?
    Regards Viv

    Not quite a perfect man...

They say good men are hard to find
I know this to be true
But I hunted far and wide
And found one just for you!

He is no good at DIY
    He cannot fix the car
But his socks are never smelly
And he doesn't stray too far

    He always listens patiently
And won't pester you in bed
If you get fed up with him
You just bite of his head!

  • Just remembered a poem that was great for grandparents/god parents etc for your little ones to make.

You use black card and white paint and paint as the poem describes :)
and have lots of fun too :)

This little angel is special you see
Because she's a small part of ME
    Her wings are my hands.
    her body my feet.
A splodge for her head which really looks neat.
Her halo shimmering with glitter and gold.
I hope you'll agree she'll never be sold.

    'Never a Christmas Morning
    Never the Old Year Ends
    But Somebody thinks of Someone
    Old Days
    Old Times
    Old Friends '

Nice verse but don't know what to give with it ? Ideas please

right i would make a mini hamper with that... find a nice box with a lid and add the poem to the lid and once its filled sealed the lid. so you can add things like ~

Never a Christmas Morning ~ snow globe/xmas scene ~ xmas card
Never the Old Year Ends ~ new year banner/new year card/party poppres/wine
But Somebody thinks of Someone ~ heart pillow/plaque
Old Days ~ old sweets/bars of choc (cadburys do some great ones online)
    Old Times ~ clock/watch
Old Friends ' ~ pics of you and the recipiant in a frame/scrapbook/album

then on each item stick a little tag with the verse of the poem. Line the box with paper/stripped tissue paper ~ seal the box with ribbon or simaler, add the verse and await xmas day

I would prob say min you could spend £20~£25 max £70 :D

Can anyone think of a good poem/verse and the contents of a smallish box that i could send to my auntie?
Shes recently been diagnosed with cancer and by christmas will be well into her chemo so i'd like something that shows im thinking of her.

Nothing too serious or religeous. ;)
